"the carriers" |
Has anyone that watched faithfully last season thought about "the carriers" that Danielle spoke of? She said the others were the carriers. This may have been discussed last season but I don't remember. Were they carriers for the experiment? That would explain how they got gas for the boat.

I have thought about it.... about who, or what, the carriers are. Ever since we found out the Black Rock was an old ship, on dry land, and not some big black boulder, you never know what Danielle is talking about. ..... I think we're supposed to believe at this point that 'carriers' is meant as if they were sick with a virus, or even contagious with something. But I've been wondering if maybe a few people in her scientific team she was with, were actually designated the 'carriers' for the equiptment of her team. My guesses....... Carriers: carriers of a contagious disease from the science experiment gone bad. .... .........Carriers of the equiptment lugged on the island? If so, it could be else man, machine, or beast. OK..... strike machine, or beast, cause we know the 'others' are people. Any other thoughts?

When we first met her, I thought Rousseau said, "The mothers were the carriers." Sayid thought she said The Others when he first heard her story. Since then only The Others have been referred to by Rousseau.
