The episode will air March 16th, 2005 @ 10PM ET. We are a black godless family in Atlanta, GA. They swapped us with a white Christian family from Michigan! hee-hee. Big surprise. Set your TIVOs. All I can say right now is regardless of belief, there is NO reason to not let your kids play outside. Dood, your son is growing up without a father, he needs you. Wife is sweet, I know Sims2 is addictive, but she seems to have learned how important it is to spend time with your kids. Also, I'm reminded why I have real problems with some homeschooling. Overall, I think both wives were cool in their own way, the husbands seem to be the ones with the problems. C'est Moi. Thanks Syren! I thought it will yet again be a "mine is the right way and the only way" kind of thing. Unfortunately, I had nothing else Tivo'd! This is the first wife swap in a long time that was normal, where for the most part people were cordial. But I must say, that both families, as usual are a bit extreme, and both families upset me somewhat. You can believe in god, but it can be a belief that you talk about 3-4 times a day, pray a few times a day, but once in a while something other than god, something pertaining to real everyday life should cross your lips. I usually get the feeling that people who tend to overdo it, are actually trying to convince themselves. On the other hand, I know many many atheists, and I'm not a 100% believer myself, and none of them have mouse pads, signs, t-shirts, and such studding their houses and wardrobes. Again, in some ways if a person has to constantly reinforce it, maybe their not convinced themselves. Or maybe it's just a counteraction to the ever present Chrisitan environment that they live in. I'm glad the Atlanta family claims to go out more than what was implied on the show. What I think the other family needs to drop is soap in the mouth. It's mean spirited and shameful.
