jrtcarol 2 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "American Cancer Society Spokesperson" 09-15-04, 10:17 AM (EST) "How were they supposed to spend the money?" We had a thunderstorm during last night's show (September 14) and I missed the instructions each mom gave the other's family for spending the $50,000. I'd love to know. The Texas Family got a trip to Disney,Each son got a computer and money to pay off debts,grandma got a trip to Europe,$10,000 for a down pay on a house so gram can have her house back,$1,000 for lazy Dad and I can't remember what else sorry. The other family got,Little girl got money to furnish and redecorate her room,youngest boy got money for a dog,each kid got $1,000 to blow on whatever.Older son and Dad got kickboxing class together. The whole family got money for family therapy and the Mom got money for plastic surgery!! There might be more but I can't remember. Both families needed therapy: the NY family needs to get Broadway Boy counseling to help him prepare for the rest of his life, and the Texas dad needs aptitude tests and then training for employment! I was a little surprised by the money for plastic surgery. Was she told the mother wanted plastic surgery? If she wasn't that was an odd thing to give someone she had not even met yet. What if the woman doesn't want plastic surgery. Do they not get that portion of the money? It is one thing to offer someone money for a class you don't want. I totally agree!I was thinking she gave the woman money for plastic surgery before she met her so the other mother shouldn't be offended..She is a pretty lady although a bit of a snob and blind to her familys obvious dysfunction.I don't think she really needs surgery unless she really wants it.As long as she is comfortable with who she is and is happy thats all that matters.I would like to know what happens to the money if she decides not to have it done. Also, the little girl who got $10,000 for braces a few shows back, it usually doesn't cost more than $4,000 if that much. Does she get to pocket the rest?
