Although I, too, am impressed with Serigo's smarts, I am MORE impressed by Manfredo's stupidity and Ahmed's self-centeredness! "Joey gave me a $40,000 car. He's my friend! That's why I'm going along with the program and not fight him with Ahmed or Alphonso, either of which would beat the living c**p out of him and put me one step closer to winning ONE MILLION DOLLARS!" At first, I also thought Peter was both 1) stupid and 2) naive in how he perceived Joey's "gift." However, he never used the word, "friend." I think Peter was worried about keeping his head straight .. and he wasn't about to step in the ring with a guy who just gave him a 40k vehicle that day. Hmm, but what happens if/when Joey calls out Peter in next week's episode? Then it's on. Manfredo knows this guy thinks he's better -- and it's lights out, rookie.
