Thanks, Bill for telling Trump that Gold Rush was late for their meeting with the CEOs. And to humiliate the Russian contestant on national TV because he didn't know what a jingle was - I thought that was totally unacceptable! What happened to Bill? All of a sudden, he has become at least three times the jerk that Donald Trump is. As Trumps' "eyes and ears" on the task, that's his role to bring up that they were late for the meeting. Especially since it annoyed the execs who were waiting. If anything, Bill was wrong for not advising Trump about this important detail until the boardroom... assuming that's when Trump really learned of it. It was the only real mistake that the team made. We all have to wonder whether they would have lost at all if they hadn't been late to the meeting and the left the execs looking for a reason to have them lose. Also, pointing out that Lenny has been in the country for 14 years and ruining his "what's a jingle?" excuse for being tone-deaf was probably a good point also. That is his job to point out weaknesses of the losing team. This is an interview and the tough issuses should be addressed. Pointing out weaknesses isnt necessarily a bad thing. I wonder if he speaks other languages, or if he understands the difficulty of translating concepts (not just words), speech patterns, and nuances across cultures. If he did understand this, he would not have made the culturally insensitive comment about the amount of time Lenny has lived in the United States. What a smarmy, self-satisfied git.
