I accept the fast-forward rushing. It's just that I spent an entire bloody season at that stupid wedding only to have them effectively get divorced in ten minutes. "RE: da spoils" I realized sometime during the second season of Lost that they could make up any damn thing they wanted at the end, just like St. Elsewhere. Pam can wake up and find Bobby in the shower, Bob can turn into Dick and wake up next to Emily instead of Joanna, blahblah. Barney and Robin were a toxic couple, they couldn't make it work, no big deal. IMHO #31 was Missy, the Mother body double for most of the series until they actually casted the part.
