O.M.G. That was the funniest scene I think I've ever witnessed. I was laughing so hard, I almost wet myself. Tim obviously got it, but the rest of them deserve an Academy Award just for keeping a straight face. Did you recognize the music playing? It was the music from The Mole. LOL! I didn't watch this show last time, was it this funny?

Joe Schmo is produced by Stone Stanley, the same folks behind The Mole, and when Spike TV sent me the Episode 1 screener last month it featured the mole music during the elimination, but the screener made it clear that it didn't feature final effects and music, so I assumed that they'd be replacing that in the broadcast episode. I can't believe they kept that... since I'd already seen the whole first episode a few weeks ago, I didn't bother watching the 10PM broadcast and instead watched my WB affiliate's 10PM broadcast of the SuperStar USA finale (we don't have a real WB affiliate here in Rhode Island so the UPN affil airs the WB stuff at wierd times) and then watched Bravo's Blow Out at 11PM, so it was well after midnight before I popped in my tape of Spike TV's Joe Schmo Ep 1 broadcast and I was probably kinda nodding off by the time of the eviction, I can't believe I missed that  >I didn't watch this show last

They do have quite a sense of humor. when Spike TV sent me the Episode 1 screener last month Lucky you!! Why didn't you warn me that it was so freakin funny? Yes... I'd say even more so GET OUT!  I find that a little hard to believe seeing as I thought the premire was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I guess I'll have to buck up for the DVD set. edited to remove a question about repeats, that I found the answer to in a different thread.

Actually Ingrid did get the joke but if you watch her face she is trying to figure some things out. Remember after how she is grilling the girls on how they sounded like they had rehearsed. Her friend here in the office shared that right off the bat Ingrid felt way different than the other women. If you watch her expressions you can see her mind working. If you listen and watch too sometimes they say really odd things and if you catch her expression it is very questioning and she watches the other "contestants" to see if they are noticing it as well.

Maybe it's just me but I don't think the 'peral necklace' porn reference is particularly funny. In isolation maybe not, but when Austin asked each girl: "May I give you a pearl necklace" and then each girl replied with some version of OH, yes, please! I would love it! THAT? Was hysterical.

I'm still laughing.  I can see if you didn't have a clue, and found out later, it may not seem as funny. No joke is as funny when you're not in on it, right? I thought the entire program was hysterical. Passion rock, Teet of love (or something like that), The Mole music, the elimination promos leading into every break ala The Bachelor, the hot tub date, the falcon, the over the top host... I could go on and on. I guess I found it all so funny because I watch all those cheesy reality dating shows, and I got all the spoofs. I didn't watch it last season, so I have nothing to compare it to. I thought it was a riot from start to finish. -true oh, was the host so over the top last season? His speeches were killing me.

Some people found out about it right here on this board. Last I checked, this wasn't a porn site. There are any number of ways to learn definitons of slang terms. I know tons of gangster terminology, and I'm a suburban housewife. (ok, not really, but I could without joining a gang.)
