When done properly, the dance summons American idiots. Sadly, it was the only thing most of the teams did right in the entire task. (We know it worked. They showed up. As for the invisible decoder wall... you knew they were dead when the field mutually reached the point where they were closer to lifting the buildings to look for signs underneath than they were to walking around them. 'Lie down on the ground and stare at the sky. Maybe they'll fly it overhead!' Not just heroic moments of stupidity and blindness, but group heroic moments of stupidity and blindness. Nice work, casting department -- now go back to Big Brother where you belong. 'Maybe we were tattooed in the night! Take off your clothes!'

Don't forget walking right past the decoder and not actually thinking to look at it. One of the teams even looked back at her teammate and still didn't see it. It's amazing that the singers found it right away and no one else even had a clue.
