The Real World Key West continues to churn away with drama only MTV can pull-off. Between Skinny, Slutty and Queeny there is never a dull moment even when we have Jose wrapped in toilet paper. Let’s catch-up with the ever-present DAWs:This episode starts out with Skinny having a full stomach as she has just eaten an entire leaf of lettuce so she won’t have to eat for at least 4 days. Then we have Queeny having a fully quaffed do so everyone is ready to go!
Everyone is dressed and ready for a night of ghouls and goblins as they are going on a walking ghost tour of Key West. They are given a story about “Robbie the doll”. Robbie has terrorized the city for years and plans on making his rounds in the Real World house as well.
The guys decide to wrap Jose in toilet paper to look like a Robbie and sneak him into the girls’ room while they sleep. The whole absurd scene takes up the entire first segment and is just stewpid. After being wrapped in paper, Jose’s hands and feet are clearly visible and nowhere near scary as he waddles into the girls’ room. Slutty’s hair is far scarier than anything the guys could have ever imagined!
The roomies are off to find out about the job they will have for the next 4 months (are we tired yet?). They arrive at a very nice open commercial space but Slutty poo poos the parade, as she is all pissy because she thinks they will be selling art and she wants nothing to do with it. Evidently she is urinated off that daddy can’t buy her way out of this one.
The roomies meet Ricky Croft (Tan Daddy) as their new business partner. Tan Daddy is responsible for developing “mystic tan”. The spray-on tan business will be an adventure that will be shared equally between Tan Daddy and the roomies.
This has the potential of being a very interesting job that could attract a diverse crowd. The roomies have $5,000 and 14 days to prepare the space for the grand opening. Tan Daddy tells them he doesn’t care what they do to get customers but they have to make money!
I don’t know how/what exactly started the drama this go around but Queen Ty announces (in the kitchen) that he wants to work directly with Janelle and Skinny during the preparation of the tanning salon because he thinks Slutty will get on his nerves. Well, this sets off Slutty (and I totally understand her point of view here) to be upset! This reminds me of people (like Simon from American Idol) that start sentences with, “don’t take this personal but”. Well, how the hell else can one take it but personal?
Queeny decides tough love is the way to go here and begins to tell Slutty that basically she is a spoiled rotten brat and that everyone agrees with him but they just don’t voice their opinion. Well, I am torn here because I agree with what Queeny is saying about Slutty but who the hell does he think he is telling her? Seriously, why should he think he has to be judge and jury of her actions?
At this point in time, I would give Queeny a little tough love of his own if I were in the house. However, the things I would need and the description of things that would be done are not PG-13 rated and must not be printed here. Let your imagination run wild and I bet you can think of a few things!
The next day finds Tan Daddy helping the roomies paint their new business and I have a four observations:
1) Everyone apologizes and is friends again.
2) Everyone is working well together.
3) Tan Daddy = Sugar Daddy
4) OH.THE.DRAMA!
I finally blogged
