PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

LAST EDITED ON 07-09-03 AT 11:35 PM (EST)I had it on, but I got stuff going on at the house so we were busy. From what I saw I liked it better then the Bacholor , and face it, Love or Money Sucked hard ( and not in the good way). I'll give Cupid another shot. Hell, it's better than Paradise Badly Scripted Homely Hotel.

You wouldn't happen to be a fan of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart? Coincidently, they had a special feature last night on the search for a genetic cure to the disease of stupidity. Unfortunately for most of the men on this show it appears to be decades away from success.

Maybe it's because I've met too many of these guys (which explains why I'm still single) but I loved this show and enjoyed watching the ladies put these jerks in their place. >>>>Yeah, I agree. I think the blonde friend is rude ... only because I don't think she understands the good Godly work she is doing. Ha. Being a man, it frustrates me to hear such sorry game playing crap from guys ... and the only thing that is worse is that women buy into it. So while I think it is by accident and without much understanding of what is going on ... and with no attempt to educate myself, or anyone in the audience ... the blonde frien (and the overall show, Cupid) is doing us all a favor by not playing along with the tired guy game. The tired guy game: Have you noticed that there seems to be, as a "getting to know you" process, an argument offered early in the relationship? Eh, I've noticed it. Rather than a learning process, a control game begins, where the guy tries to prove something and the woman plays along by offering objections. A puzzle to me, if the guy "wins" his argument, he seems to think that the woman then must submit to his reality. The women often seem to follow along ... rarely do I get to see an example of a woman, or women, saying "no." Usually, what I see is women trying their hand at the game in order to feel more "empowered" -- I can be a control freak, I can be a whore, I can be oblivious to reality and live in my neurotic fantasy world, just like these guys. Oh, uh ... did I rant a bit? Yeah. Ok, so anyway, I like the show and enjoy seeing these guys get a dose of reality. Even from someone who I don't think understands the good she is doing. And I hope that she grows up a bit ... otherwise, it gets old paying attention to the worst in guys, or in women ... eventually, we just end up accepting a l'il bit of their standards. OK. That's all.
