She was clearly playing a game and she won the full prize fair and square. Thank you so much for all of your support after the finale aired. My fans have proven to be my true friends. I came to Paradise Hotel with two intentions: to win the game and to make lasting relationships. As you know, I didn't win the game, and sadly I've grown to question the authenticity of some of the relationships I formed at the Hotel. One thing I don't question is the amazing support of the fans. Many fans in the last 24 hours have tried to give me money. I will not accept any money from fans for myself, nor will I return the money to fans. Instead I am setting up a nonprofit organization and will give 90% of all money received to charity (10% will cover our administrative costs). My goal is to raise at least $125,000 from my true friends, the fans. I am calling this the Dave Kerpen Friendship Fund. Even if we don't raise the full $125,000, any amount given to a good cause is worth the effort. Here are a few more details you may need to know. We have set up a PayPal account and our non-profit incorporation application is pending. We will have a P.O. box for check and money order donations as soon as possible. Even I saw a money-grubber who wasn't thinking much about Charla--he wanted a win, the money and the 15 minutes; oh, yea, and the girl. My feeling last night was that Charla wanted to be sure Dave's friendship was real -- not just infatuation combined with a need for a partner to get him through to a win. I also think that some of Dave's shady dealings were childish and not particularly intelligent -- wooing Amy and then running to his girls to get them to say certain things at Pandora's box. Same thing he did with Matt. His antics with Scott and Holly, and of course, Bozo. He was consistently schmoozing and then backstabbing. People realized they couldn't believe a word he said -- even Keith and Tara, even Charla doubted him at the end. Dave was the one person the jury seemed to agree shouldn't win. And Charla knew it. Charla might not have gotten through without Dave, but Dave would not have gotten through without Charla. Some good ques and some foxbd-type. He says that he and Keith were friends the next day (tara too). No mention of the evil one yet. Roll, don't get all worked up now! Also, there's a great link on the main page to a Boston Herald article about the "Cheapsnake". You should like it. It claims(are you sitting down?) that Charla spent some of her $$ to buy a bed with boyfriend Jesse. It says K & T haven't made good on Vegas trip (I've heard elsewhere). In the tvguide interview, he discusses his surprise on returning to see that AMerica loved them (despite Origs lies). In the photo gallery, there are some pics of the Bday party in NYC.
