First, for the record, let me get this out of the way: I have no bitterness toward Charla whatsoever. She was clearly playing a game and she won the full prize fair and square.
Thank you so much for all of your support after the finale aired. My fans have proven to be my true friends. I came to Paradise Hotel with two intentions: to win the game and to make lasting relationships. As you know, I didn't win the game, and sadly I've grown to question the authenticity of some of the relationships I formed at the Hotel. One thing I don't question is the amazing support of the fans.
Many fans in the last 24 hours have tried to give me money. I will not accept any money from fans for myself, nor will I return the money to fans. Instead I am setting up a nonprofit organization and will give 90% of all money received to charity (10% will cover our administrative costs).
My goal is to raise at least $125,000 from my true friends, the fans. I am calling this the Dave Kerpen Friendship Fund. Even if we don't raise the full $125,000, any amount given to a good cause is worth the effort.
Here are a few more details you may need to know. We have set up a PayPal account and our non-profit incorporation application is pending. We will have a P.O. box for check and money order donations as soon as possible.
While I appreciate others raising money for the Dave Kerpen Friendship Fund, I cannot vouch for the validity of donations made through any other channels.
I am researching charitable organizations and will announce 2 to 3 charities to receive the money on Tueesday, October 7th.

I noticed on the official PH website they are claiming that there is some kind of webchat with Dave. Is that true? If so, does anyone know what is said, because this announcement isn't all that shocking.

Most of the shocking twists on the show weren't particularly shocking so I don't think we should be surprised that the post-show news isn't exactly of nail-biting importance. I think the PHo marketing peeps rubbed off on everyone, including Dave.

Dave is just going to take his 15 minutes and stretch it into a marketing machine! He is one smart cookie who knows how to make a spin on life.

I think you are right jkokoj! Dave has his own marketing company and he will apply his marketing skills to "Dave from Paradise Hotel" to get as much out of this experience as possible. I wish him all the best.

Personally.....couldn't give a flying fig what Dave has to say....every time he open his mouth....insert foot here. He reminds me of all those crooked, double talking politicians. I was sooooooooooo happy that Charla didn't split the money.......you go girl.

I agree, Ray. I think Charla questioned Dave to see what his response was. Even I saw a money-grubber who wasn't thinking much about Charla--he wanted a win, the money and the 15 minutes; oh, yea, and the girl. My feeling last night was that Charla wanted to be sure Dave's friendship was real -- not just infatuation combined with a need for a partner to get him through to a win. I also think that some of Dave's shady dealings were childish and not particularly intelligent -- wooing Amy and then running to his girls to get them to say certain things at Pandora's box. Same thing he did with Matt. His antics with Scott and Holly, and of course, Bozo. He was consistently schmoozing and then backstabbing. People realized they couldn't believe a word he said -- even Keith and Tara, even Charla doubted him at the end. Dave was the one person the jury seemed to agree shouldn't win. And Charla knew it. Charla might not have gotten through without Dave, but Dave would not have gotten through without Charla. And I loved Charla's quick response to Alex when he asked if she wished she had gone to the final with someone else. Go Charla!

That's exactly what I thought, Chrissy gal! Now the question is, will this experience help him or hurt him as a marketer? I think that it will help his career: he marketed man-boob dork as the winner, and we all bought it!

there is a "discussion forum" link on the left menu.
Go to "ask dave questions", he's answering 3 a day, starting yesterday. Some good ques and some foxbd-type.

He says that he and Keith were friends the next day (tara too). No mention of the evil one yet.

Also, there's a great link on the main page to a Boston Herald article about the "Cheapsnake". You should like it. It claims(are you sitting down?) that Charla spent some of her $$ to buy a bed with boyfriend Jesse. It says K & T haven't made good on Vegas trip (I've heard elsewhere).

In the tvguide interview, he discusses his surprise on returning to see that AMerica loved them (despite Origs lies).

In the photo gallery, there are some pics of the Bday party in NYC. TOM is there (sans smokey)! Guess he likes Dave or media attention.

I heard when Tara did her interview that she was in Vegas right then?? Maybe K&T eloped!!

I personally wouldn't have taken ANY OF THEM to Vegas, or a Motel 6 for that matter.
