ABC posted solid gains over the previous Wednesday in both Total Viewers (13.2 million vs. 12.5 million) and Adults 18-49 (5.9/15 vs. 5.7/14). The Network drew its largest audience on the night in 2 months with regular programming (since 12/4/02) and hit its best Wednesday rating among Women 18-49 since November – since the night of the season finale for “The Bachelor II” on 11/20/02. ABC won Wednesday across all key Women demographics: Women 18-34 (7.5/20), Women 18-49 (7.9/19) and Women 25-54 (8.3/18).
“Celebrity Mole Hawaii” (10:00-11:00 p.m.)
“Celebrity Mole Hawaii” saw its second consecutive week of gains among Adults 18-49 (5.3/14 vs. 5.2/13 vs. 5.0/13). “Celebrity Mole Hawaii” placed first in its time period among Adults 18-34, winning the hour and beating NBC’s “Law & Order” for the 4th week in a row in the demo. The reality series beat the NBC drama by 16% among Adults 18-34 (5.0/15 vs. 4.3/13), its largest advantage to date over an original episode.
“Celebrity Mole Hawaii” delivered is strongest rating yet among Women 18-49 (7.0/17).
“Celebrity Mole Hawaii” qualifies as ABC’s highest-rated series in the hour in 4 years among Adults 18-49 (5.3/14 – since “20/20 Wednesday” in the 1998-99 season. Additionally, “Celebrity Mole” is generating the best Adult 18-34 (5.2/15) series delivery for the Net in the hour in 6 years (since “Primetime Live” 1996-97) and best Teen 12-17 rating (3.9/16) in nearly a decade (since “Turning Point” 1994).
