Reality TV World Message Board Forums
PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats, but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are encouraged to read the complete guidelines. As entertainment critic Roger Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

"Remain Signed In"
I'm having problems with my account. Every time I come back to the site, I'm not signed in. And I've repeatedly checked the "Remain Signed On" button.

Is anyone else having this problem? Or is my computer gone crazy?

Weird. When I used to remain signed in all the time, it only happened when a poster got banned for some reason. SBlows never records such things, why should he; but... that said, there are a few bothersome sorts who keep showing up even tho they know they are unwelcome.

In any event, just don't sign up for always being here, that's what I've been doing the last year or so. It's way less complicated that way (don' ask me to 'splain, but it haps to be true).

Lurk, sign in when you have something to say, way kewl.

I have to sign in each day also, but it's because my husband clears to cookies out of my machine all the time. Could that be your reason?

If you don't have cookies enabled, you'll definitely have to login every time -- that's exactly the types of things that cookies are used for...

I'm fairly sure that I have cookies enabled. Oh well. It's working fine now. I usually just click "Favorite Places" which leads to the Conferences screen. The first time, I'm not signed in. But it automatically does it for me anyway when I click on a forum.

Thanks for the help, you guys.

My computer's just a little weird...

Check your bookmark -- make sure you're going to the community.realitytvworld.com server, you might have an outdated bookmark from either the old community.survivorblows.com or the brief community2.realitytvworld.com servername.

In my Favorite Places, I was still linked to community2, so now it's working again. The problem wasn't a big deal, just was something bugging me. Thanks.

Just to add to the freak show, I dont have cookies enabled, but the only time I have to log in is when I clear my history (or the cookies too Bug) or tell my settings to clear it every day.
