When we left off the story, peeps were out spending their first afternoon doing their thing(s) and I was off to make a few phone calls. After completing all my calls and begging and making wild promises, I am pleased that the 4 peeps who were missing will be joining us in the morning. I AM Sparticus! So I am off to the bar to check in on the shenanigans of the peeps there.I find my fine friends by their laughter and stand for a moment, in awe, just admiring them. But then I am spotted by motormouth
, who screams “Woe”! and then everyone turns to look so I scream “I am Sparticus”, to which the group replies “NO I am Sparticus”! and we all start laughing as I join the table. Miamicatt
has her light sabre out, but has slipped out of the whole Darth get-up as it was way too warm. CSTL

I am not a drinker, but for these peeps, I will make an exception. I do, however, warn them that I tend to get huggy when I imbibe, but they encourage me to go for it anyway. Time flew and the other peeps had ventured back from their little journeys so we decided to go to the dining room for dinner since we were all hungry anyway. Dinner was wonderful and the peeps were charming, everyone enjoyed themselves and a bunch of us decided to walk down to the beach to watch the sunset. I told them that the bus would be loading at check out time tomorrow afternoon at 1, to go to our next location.

and I strolled to the beach, laughing, chatting, hugging and being in general disbelief that we were all here together, someone asked what the plan was for tomorrow. I said it was a surprise but I thought they would love it. As we stood, feet in the water, watching the sun set, there were many ooohs at the beautifully colorful sunset. Darn, and none of us with a camera on us. There will be others while they are here though, so not to worry.
The next morning some of the peeps were up early and organized for a trip to Hanauma Bay before our check out time, while others were going for a hike up Diamond Head. Our bar peeps had partied a tad late and were sleeping in, while I was making sure all the arrangements for our weekend were in order before heading off to the airport to pick up our last minute surprise guests.
So it’s off to the airport, more leis and anticipation. I didn’t have to wait long for Sherpa Dave and Brock (JIMBO) to arrive and once they got the leis and accompanying hugs it wasn’t long before Mon Cherie and PhoenixMons arrived as well. We zipped back to the hotel as the rest of the peeps were in the lobby getting ready to check out. They were delighted to have the missing peeps present and now it's time to get on the bus kids 
Our driver makes the journey to Sand Island and as we disembark from the bus and spill on to the beach I managed to get the group to stand still long enough to get this picture:
What a lovely bunch, yeah? You guessed it, we are gonna be camping here for the weekend. Tents are set up, mass amounts of food and beverages (alcohol included, of course) are stored away and hey, Pizza Hut delivers if anyone is in the mood. There are some very fine RV’s available for those who are not into the tent thing (I personally consider “roughing” it as going without my microwave, mmmk?) and all the water toys you can imagine are assembled for those who wish to surf, snorkel or boogie board, Float on air mattresses, volleyball and frizbees and even some cards for those who wish to play poker, as well as the standard party games. What more could you ask for than a private beach for the weekend? Far removed, yet so close to everything really.
What? You thought there wasn’t camping in Hawaii? You watch all those reality shows on islands and now you are surprised I planned this? There will be no teams and no eliminations, no challenges for food or eating of gross things, just fun, sun and bonding. Lots of bonding. And should we choose to play here longer than the weekend, no problem, it’s a secluded spot and most people don’t realize it’s there.
