"SSC and WSC" During the Survivor off-seasons, the board stages the "Winter Story Competition" and the "Summer Story Competition." The original idea was dreamed up by Kismet after the second Survivor, and it's been going on ever since. SherpaDave is the person "in charge" of the competitions. The "stars" of the first competition formed the Web site Criminals from the Neck Up; current members of the collective include SherpaDave, Superman, samiam, Lisapooh and Frau Hexe, I believe, and much of the art on display was created by ItzLisa. Many of the stories published there were originally entries in the competition. The competitions are open to all entries. Rules of the competition are posted shortly after the end of each Survivor series. "RE: SSC and WSC" Yup, there are several categories, including two for poetry: Free Verse and Rhyming Poetry. The next competition will be some time this summer, but people are encouraged to use this board in between competitions as well to share their work.
