desert_rhino 10087 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Playboy Centerfold" 05-22-01, 12:35 PM (EST) "Contestant Drawings..." I've decided to post a few of the contestant drawings that I had the great pleasure of producing. There is no spoiler value in these, whatsoever, as they were all completed before the first TC actually occurred. The drawings of the opposition, of course, were done from memory and a couple of quick studies, so they may not be as high-quality as those of the my teammates, whom I will always regard as winners. I draw, I paint, I do all kinds of artsy-fartsy stuff (and fairly well, I might say), but I don't understand why you're wasting your time with pencil and paper when you should be using Illustrator or Photoshop! (PS 6 does vector graphics now, so is my fave--and it has an optimizing feature for saving things for the web!) Once you learn the key commands, it goes faster than traditional media--plus you get all the neat-o computer capabilities, to boot. And I must protest. . . why the big ol' head?! Am I looking into a fisheye lens? those ears look like I might take off any minute. . . I guess I'm just going to have to get off my duff and set the record straight with a more accurate pic. . . And maybe if there was less chitchat and more of what the thread promised, your ratings wouldn't have tanked! Sheesh. Oh--and one more thing--I get dibs by IceCat when it comes to sleeping arrangements. No way I'm going to try to conserve body heat by coming anywhere near something so dangerous-looking as those horns! What a goose THAT would be!
