GT is doing such a capable job of bringing us 'hos on dah go', I thought I'd bring up another standard practice of the 'Reality TV' realm...'Skeletons in the Closet or...
What Dah Ho Don't Want Yah to Know'Some might call this a shameful past but I am rather proud of the work that I did in the soft porn industry in early 1980's. There always was a plot and the production values were always very high and we always shot on film, dammit! Real artistes use film!  As I recall, one of the brightest stars in the industry at that time was our very own Outfrontgirl... she actually appeared in my directorial debut: Aztec Love Slave Girl - a thoughtful allegory of man's inhumanity to... um... slave girls I guess. Here's a production shot of OFG in full costume (what there is of it, anyway).  Actually... It was during the production of Aztec Love Slave Girl that Outfrontgirl got her stage name. It's a hilarious story but I'll leave it up to her to tell it. She tells it so much better... you know... with the facial expressions and the sound effects and everything - funny stuff! So here's the next 'challenge'... Dig up the dirt on the BV hos and post it here... What did they do in their deep, dark past? Here's a little incentive... there's at least one pic of me in a whip cream speedo floating around on the net! Now who can resist that?

Remember when I blew the whistle on sleeeve's upcoming career as romance novel cover model? From what I've learned about the guy in the bar, it seemed rather risqué and out of character--but after delving into his past a bit more, I've found even more shocking revelations!Yes, IceCat and OFG are not the only former porn stars here. . . he was always ripped off in the heat of passion, and left crumpled on the floor while the "stars" of the film would get all the action (and you wonder why he never got any)... I've been finding the task of wading through the morass of internet porn sites worse than daunting, so I apologize for not coming up with better vid caps than these--I simply cannot take the sleaze any more! Shortly after my ouster, I found that the offers from Playboy and other men's magazines weren't exactly rolling in... I didn't get much money from being on Blowsvivor as I was booted off so soon, and I didn't know how to cash in on my short-lived fame. Well, I was led astray by the wrong people, and now... Yes *sob!*, it's true - there's a blow-up sex doll of me floating around the porn shops of Times Square!!! They even did a package deal for me and my two sisters! Oh, the humiliation!!!! (Ooops! But I have to ask has permission been granted by everyone to be included in this thread? I was in the bar earlier, adn this topic came up, and from the sounds of it, permission by everyone had not been given. I kind of got into the discussion, but really wasn't paying too much attention, because I was more interested in listening to that slimeball Condit.I defended this, believing that those included had indeed been given their permission. Yet I regret that I hadn't checked it out today. If people didn't give their consent, then I find this to be in poor taste. If they have, and I am wrong, then ignore this. -----------------------

As one can CLEARLY see this thread was begun well over a week ago on 15 Aug 01, so this can't be thread that was being discussed a few days ago as 'about to appear'. Also, the thread has to do with people who were included in the Blowsvivor project not 'everyone'. The fact that it included on the Blowsvivor thread and not OT might have also provided a small clue. I request that webby make an official call on this. If this thread is, in fact, beyond the bounds of good taste for this board then, by all means, please remove it. If it is deemed to be in bad taste, then I would point out that player descriptions set out by Shakes in the first place were far more questionable than this and he most certainly did not obtain people's permission. It would appear, LadyT, that you have confused the subject of a bar discussion from a few days ago with this thread which has nothing to do with that conversation. If people didn't give their consent, then I find this to be in poor taste. If they have, and I am wrong, then ignore this... Actually, I would prefer not to ignore it -- I would like this resolved. If this thread is offensive then, please webby, delete it. If, LadyT, you have subsequently realized that this was not the thread being discussed in the bar, then kindly retract your comment. If you maintain that the thread is in poor taste, then I invite you to rationalize that comment within the context of the Blowsvivor project as a whole. Well... there it is... post 1000! How nice to have such a festive topic to mark such an occasion. Edited to Add: For the record... For the most part, I try to avoid conflict. Typically, I keep my opinions on these type of issues to myself unless asked. And rarely do I ever put them on the boards. But I have bit my tongue bloody for a while now and cannot continue to do so. Since I don't believe it is appropriate to make negative remarks about people behind their back and don't wish to perpetuate confusion by keeping it behind the scenes, I'm going to say what I have to say on the record.Trish: No offense intended to you at all, I know you are attempting to resolve issues without saying too much, but IMO your post is a bit too vague to be helpful. IceCat: Trish was referring to things said in chat last night. It is not your thresd in general that is in poor taste. (and btw congrats on your 1000th, so sorry to do this here). It is the pic from Pepe's post and more specifically GT's response to it that several people in chat last night mentioned being in very poor taste. And I agree. And it is my personal opinion that it was not said "in jest" as will be claimed, but was a direct jab at Jizzy and was not said with good intentions. And please reread that is my OPINION, thankyouverymuch. Only chat regulars would know that there is a history there and that this wouldn't necessarily be considered "friendly banter." I find that pic to be a bit of an odd "coincidence" as well, the resemblance is rather uncanny. "Leaked"? Perhaps, but not by Jizzy. He is too much of a gentleman to respond to the above post, but don't take that as approval. If I am mistaken Jizzy, please correct me. And my sincere apologies to you if this post draws unwanted attention to this thresd. GT: I have refrained many times from saying things to you that I wanted to. Because I didn't want to be involved, wanted to keep the peace, preferred to keep negative attention directed away from myself. Frankly, I don't care much for you. You always came across to me as a bit harsh and abrasive. Up until recently I CHOSE to give the benefit of the doubt and take that some things you said were intended as humor even when it didn't seem very humorous to me. I chose to consider that our senses of humor were just vastly different. I no longer believe that is true. I feel you deliberately make jabs at people, but do so in the guise of humor yet in a way that the person(s) it is directed toward will know what you meant, but you don't look bad for having said it. Granted only a little of what I am referring to was directed at me (and thus not my business), but I feel the same about it all. Individually, it doesn't seem like much, but collectively it has the effect of water dripping on stone. Whatever your opinion of me, at least I had the decency to say it to your face. I would also like to state for the record that Kismet does not form my opinions for me nor does she have that kind of influence over me. I am perfectly capable of thinking for myself and do so on a daily basis. She is my friend, but I can and do disagree with her on many things. The fact I don't care for you is due to you and not her. To everyone else: I did not enjoy making this post. I said what I felt I needed to. I thought a lot before posting and didn't do so lightly.

First of all.. Rio.. I respect you for speaking your mind, and I also feel that now, I need to pop in on this for a second to give my opinion on what I know, or at least think I know. I have to be HONEST here,... and say that I was a bit offended by certain parts of the post on myself, and some others. Not the general teasing.. that is fine.. But the joke about pedophilia sincerely shook me a bit. Also, as for this all being about BV peeps.. ( I said Peeps.. hehe. ) Jizzy was not in BV. And for the same reasons as I.. did not respond to the satire. And yes Rio, he is a gentleman, isn't he?..  PLEASE do not take this as an attack.... anyone...You all know I LOVE to play on here,.. and watch the rest of you do the same. I am aware of conflicts between members of the board, and was hoping, as I am sure all of you were.. that the dust would settle, and things would continue to evolve and grow from here... My lack of response to this thresd before now, was in NO WAY to say that I was angry, or thought that you, GT, meant any real offense by your post. I simply just had moved on. Now it seems that other issues have come in to play here, things that are not necessarily general knowledge of the main population of the board.. However, if so... just how many different versions are there? Perhaps there is not a point to my barging in here and posting.. But I did feel that I owed you all my thoughts on this publicly now. She's struggled with some of these issues for a while, and has remained silent about them. I also believe that even when GT posts hurtful stuff, she doesn't consciously do so. Are her more acidic posts directed at people she's had problems with? It seems so. It this intentional? I don't think it is. I don't have proof of that, obviously, but I honestly don't think that the hurtfulness of the posts is done at a conscious level. That's not the real point of my post here, though. My real request is to ask a favor of us all. Several times recently, we've found ourselves dividing into factions over various incidents. Some of those rifts have since healed, but they took time. Just this once, let's not draw sides. Two of our community have a disagreement. Let's let it be just that. We can be supportive of our friends in ways that don't involve declaring the other people enemies. So... with S3 just around the corner, waiting to draw us back to our common bonds... let's be supportive of our friends this once in ways that don't force us to direct negative energy at others. Please? I don't think Rio wants us at war, nor do I think GT does. Edited because one of my sentences could have been read a horribly wrong way. Edited again because I realized it may seem that I think previous people in disagreements did want wars. I don't (and didn't) think that. I do think, though, that we're all very passionate here about our friends. And while that's healthy in its way, it can turn into something unhealthy when we perceive that our friends are being hurt.

Well, not having been in the Bar for some of the stand-offs that have been brought over to the board, I can honestly say I don't know what's going on (if that's where the problems started). But you all are my friends, so I would be remiss if I just stood by and said "Okay, I'm staying out of this". What hurts one, unfortunately, can drift out and hurt everyone. I guess I just want to echo what Dave said - please, let's not let our individual quirks and senses of humor divide us. I don't think anyone here ever intended to post anything hurtful. We're all grownups here, we can all tell each other in a polite, diplomatic manner if something offends us, and eveyone's opinion matters. I don't want to see us in divided camps anymore than we have been lately, please! ****************************************

I want to congratulate you Ice, for your #1000. Maybe you will feel better if you think about how those Jerry Springer guests are always involved in some controversy. Yes, it's a rocky transition still in my future.I would have given Lady T a more serious answer if I'd known you would take it seriously (I read it late at night, when I take things pretty lightly). Knowing T, she did not mean to offend you but was just seeing if anyone needed protection from bashing. This thread is just a satire that goes along with the BlowsVivor idea (that started with ShakesVivor) that these particular reality game show contestants are all media whores who in the past and future want to sell out for any kind of desperate attention whore gig that will extend their 15 minutes. We are just having fun. Everyone in BV except Ice and GT (who didn't apply) agreed to let Shakes play around with their personas as part of the game... and we all know this is tame compared to what Shakes might have us say or do. It wouldn't be a good satire if we didn't carry on in the same vein as the bad taste of those who have come before--Kimmi comes to mind. We must be all about tastelessness, IMHO, to even stay in the ball park with these people. Ice, this and your challenge thread have been very fun diversions to keep some entertainment going in BV inbetween episodes. I applaud the Feline Fantasy Fest. May your whiskers never droop! *Adding again that permission was given, to my knowledge, for all of them (except I don't personally know about Vamp's, although I assumed it was fine)*

Quickly, before a bunch more posts go up, Pepe's pic doesn't say ANYTHING about Jizzy or anyone in particular. I thought it was funny, Pepe. I do wish we could stop mixing chat happenings up with the board. I know that very real discussions happen in chat and that they relate to the board. It's just totally confusing to people who haven't been in chat when the two start interacting.
Everyone sees what goes up on the board, but only a minority are privy to chat--so how can we have an informed group discussion? Edit: Just to clarify for those who haven't read or don't remember all the episodes...

Nothing has ever stopped me from stating what I feel. I am going to try to address these all at once, forgive me if I ramble much.First off, Ice, this was never intended for you. I get a kick out of BV, I like it a lot. I am sorry if I offended you. Second, GT knows that I think she's a cool sh!t and I didn't want to "attack" her. Which is why I didn't say her name, but I figured you all would know what I was referring too. I am aware that there is bad feelings between some people, and frankly, I have not taken sides with either one. I have no problems with GT or anyone else involved. That is why I was vague. I thought I had made my point, but it was late and I was tired. Third, Basically the point of this post was to make this kind of stuff stop. There were pointed remarks in there, and frankly, after I had read them, I thought they were a little mean. If the pointed remarks were not there, I would never have posted about this. But I hate seeing people get angry and upset and I will say it whether its my place to or not. I believe it should be nipped in the bud. If it is, then it will die. ANd maybe the feelings of hurt will go away. If no one says anything, then more people will jump on the bandwagon and someone will say something that truly offends someone to the point where they leave. I do not want to see that happen. Fourth, Stuff from the bar ends up on the boards and vice versa. It is unavoidable. It is going to happen. Fifth, I wholeheartedly wish that people like OFG, GT and the others who haven't been in chat recently would come back into the bar. GT, I hope you know I do not mean to slam you, I feel that I can state my opinion, GT has the right to state hers. I will respect hers and everyone else's and I hope you all will respect mine. *sigh*It seems that some people are never happy without conflict. As this thread has been up for quite some time, I am incredulous that it's suddenly getting such negative notice. IceCat started it (and the "challenge" thresd) in FUN, we've been adding to it in that vein, and we've made a point of including everyone so that no one would feel left out--as there has been no small amount of grumbling over the wrongly-perceived "elitism" of BV. This was and is a GAME, a parody, and from the beginning provided equal opportunity and importance to "contestants," bashers, spoilers, writers, etc.--for it to be a complete take-off, it needed all those things. For those of us who jumped in with gusto to play along, it has been a riot--and I think those of you who chose not to be involved would have done better to simply ignore it than to waste everyone's time sniping (on the boards and especially in chat) as it is disrespectful of the effort that's gone into it; not only have the writers taken it very seriously, but everyone posting and working behind the scenes has put a lot of thought and effort into it. Factor in the technical problems and crushing negativity, and most of you still won't be able to appreciate how hard this has been. . . Hmmm. . . personal jabs. Rio--I have hardly interacted with you, so I have no idea where you're coming from; I suspect your opinions have been formed more from gossip than from personal experience. As for Pépé's picture--it was obviously in fun, it DOES resemble Jizz--who has widely circulated his photo and made a similar joke about me, and is probably the most active flirt/innuendo-maker in chat. I never dreamt he would find offense, and he WAS included in BV, having requested Surv to write him in--and made quite a point of enjoying that fact. Vamps--mine was not the only reference to MJ's reknowned reputation as a pedophile, and it was actually quite tame, compared to some I've seen here. You have admitted that it's a silly obsession and leaves you wide open to teasing--and that's all this is. I am not about to pass judgement on ANYONE'S musical tastes, and I have been teased here for my own. As for being "abrasive," I can make no apologies for speaking honestly. Politics have never been something I cared for, and I'm not about to waste my time imagining how various people will perceive every remark I make. Life is too short. Take it as it's put, and don't try to put your own spin on it! It's as pointless a waste of time as having to "Reply with quote" to every post on the board in order to see EVERYTHING that was said. . . Trust me, you can take me at face value--you don't need to try to second-guess ("What did she REALLY mean by that?!")--and when I listen to people, I likewise tend to take it at its simplest meaning. To do otherwise just results in a lot of wasted time and misunderstandings. It does seem that there is an abundance of people here who have no problem slinging sarcastic barbs, yet aren't at all equipped to be responded to in kind. I would suggest that if you are at all thin-skinned, you refrain from playing games of that nature. As already noted, there does seem to be a lot of confusion between what goes on in chat and within the forums--especially here, where the "farcical" is in overdrive. I think it's safe to say that EVERYTHING in Blowsvivor can best be appreciated as being delivered with a wink. Much of what goes on here is directly related to what has already happened on Survivor, and to try to twist it into something more personal is just ridiculous. Yes, we make some real friends here, but for the most part, we are dealing with anonymous personas. I suggest that if your ego is so wrapped up in what happens on an internet message board that it becomes part of a soap opera existence for you, you need to reassess your priorities. Unless something is directed specifically to you on the boards, I would suggest you take it with a grain of salt--or (as I often do) ignore it altogether. Realize that the boards and chat are only marginally connected. This is NOT real life, people! If you take some time away, you will realize that Real Life is that bunch of people you share a home and a workspace with. It's those kids who are watching teevee unsupervised while you're preoccupied with your imaginary life. Take more time to enjoy the out-of-doors, read a book, or ponder the numerous intricacies of something REALLY important, like toilet paper! Sheesh! GT

Alright, I guess I have seen this coming for some time, but I have worked in private and through personal communications to try and avoid it. I have been privately attacked by you GT and as I have told you in the past, I will always stand up and defend myself or my friends when I feel they have been wronged. Does it really surprise you that your actions have caused this kind of backlash?Your venom is as transparent on this thread as it has been in all of your posts, including your own BV Summary. You decide you don't like someone and you decide it's time to bad mouth them with a grin on your face. Most of us see the grimace of maliciousness hidden behind that grin and it rubs us the wrong way. I want to take you at face value GT, but I need to know which of your faces I am seeing. I have found a place here that accepts me, and in case you forgot what being a stay at home mother is like, it's nice to have a distraction like this from time to time. For some of us, this is the only way we have found to make friends while caring for our children. I suppose you would rather us all have our children in daycare while we cruise about town enjoying parties or being out-of-doors. That is not possible for some of us, so we find a little escape here. To insinuate that a parent is not doing their job because they choose to be a member of this community is outrageous, offensive, and above all hateful. If you cannot defend your actions, then I would suggest you keep your mouth shut. Don't you ever dare to tell anyone how to raise their children. Our children have nothing to do with your hateful rhetoric. If you choose to never apologize for hurting anyone, that is your choice. But don't blame us for reacting when you take a pot-shot. Hi guys,
As you know, I have nothing to do with this GAME and I've barely read a few episodes and posts.
However, I just read 2 posts on this thread and it turned my stomach!!!
No wonder this board seems to be falling apart!!
It's obvious this "GAME" has gone too far!!!
I originally wanted to be in this game (but couldn't for personal reasons) and it's obvious it's gone too far!
I hereby hope that this game can END NOW!!!!!!I don't want there to be a winner and I no longer want to hear another word about this steenkin, ill willed, vicious, cruel, mean spirited game!
However, Blowsvivor still owes my island $150,000 for the monkey-butlers animation services (see my new post), but I will be refunding the money already collected for any future castoffs coming to my island....because they aren't welcome anymore! Sorry, but I'm not patronizing this game anymore! I still don't know what the problem that happened with this game is and I just don't have the time or emotional energy to CARE...all I know is I'M SICK OF IT! Good day and good bye.
I shan't be looking back at this board again!

Is it Blowsvivor, is it bad feelings from the Bar and private emails being brought over to the boards? What? We're bloodying ourselves here, and I don't give two flying f.ucks who's right, who's wrong, who started it, or who said what to whom - can we all please just STOP??? We were ALL friends at one time - now we just feed off each other's bad vibes like wolves! I hate that we've gotten like this, we have valuable board members leaving or thinking about leaving every day, do you realize that? We're hemorraging ourselves, if you like that term better. EVERYONE here is valuable in their own way, no matter what personal difference you all have for each other! Yes, there are people here who aren't ever going to get along - be adults and ignore each other! You don't ever have to cross paths in real life, it should be very easy to stay out of each other's way on a message board! Lisa.. I can totally understand your frustration.. As well as that of all the others. I also respect all opinions expressed on here.I would like to take this oppurtunity to ask ALL OF YOU... Right now.. to PLEASE let this post be the last in this thresd. I understand we all have our own opinions on these issues, but I really believe that if we just let this go now... We may prevent any future feelings from being hurt, or misunderstandings from occuring.
