shakes the clown 3366 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Car Show Celebrity" 02-06-03, 12:28 PM (EST) "so, Erik wins huh" if any of you noticed, they gave away the winner in the previews last night. I guess ABC hasn't learned their lesson after the Manny fiasco from season #1 cause they did it again. During the previews they showed all the contestants sitting on the couches talking and Corbin and a couple others said something to the affect of what a genius Erik proved to be. This was when they were all sitting around AFTER the winner is announced. So, obvioulsy Erik wins cause they wouldn't be calling him a genius if he lost and they wouldn't be calling him a genius if he was the mole. "RE: so, Erik wins huh" I could see Corbin referring to Erik as a genius because I believe Erik helped make Corbin believe the mole was Michael and then Corbin was executed for thinking that. And he had that convo with Michael right before Michael was executed so he could have made Michael believe that he (Erik) was the mole. I think the others would want to think that whoever fooled them was a genius. Rather than admit they were just idiots themselves. So Erik is either the mole or the winner. Do you really think Baldwin and Corbin would shower the kid with affectionate praise? Probably not. I suspect it went something more like this: Erik: I got you all to thik so-and-so was the mole, but all along I was voting for such-and-such. The other guy just answered more questions right than I did. Corbin/Baldwin/Boatman: Oh man, you jerk! You're a freakin' genius. I think that during Mole 2, the producers learned a lot about how nit-picky their audience was and has since been trying hard to be super creative. They have clearly shown that they are not above mis-direction as is obvious from the "boatman" clue they planted in the intro. I say, if anything, this "clue" tells us Erik doesn't win.
