1. "Reward/3rd Immunity Challenge" |
LAST EDITED ON 06-08-11 AT 09:13 PM (EST)JP: C'mon in folks! Congrats! You've all made F18. And to celebrate the local natives have begun preparations for a large party where you will all act as their guests of honor. Survivors: Yea! Yeah! WooHoo! Boosh! Booyah! Hallelujah! Due to their customs you all will be claimed by a predetermined group. You will be sat at their table and enjoy the rewards upon that table. The Carolinians: Amber ~ Danni ~ Jenna ~ Natalie ~ Parvati ~ Tina Table Items: Chocolate Milk ~ Berries ~ Bread ~ Cheese The Yap-Chuuk: Aras ~ Ethan ~ JT ~ Judd ~ Rob ~ Todd Table Items: Roast Goat ~ Nuts ~ Passionfruit Juice ~ Fermented Eel The Chamorros: Bob ~ Chris ~ Earl ~ Richard ~ Tom ~ Yul Table Items: Roast Goat ~ Potatoes ~ LilikoiXO (Fermented Passionfruit Licquer) ~ Dried Fruit Go ahead and enjoy the feast, for now... you 18 will have a moment to relax.
Tom: Aw carp. I just know this "reward" is a fix. Split into the old guys versus the women versus the young guys. Aww carp. I just DO NOT have a good feeling about this. Ethan: Gah! Been here for a week now and I have yet to be on the same side as Jenna. I hate competeing against her. Parvati: Wow, going from where I was the only woman on the tribe to being with only women? *sigh* At least there's some chocolate...milk? Aras: The show's about to start! Good. I was just beginning to feel the pressure to eat some of that fermented eel. Uck. Looks gross. JP: Okay, feast is over, show is over, time to start the Immunity Challenge. For this challenge the castaways will be playing for 2 tribal immunities. These Tribal Immunities will go to the 2 tribes with the most points at the end of the challenge. For the losing tribe, it's TC, where one of them will become the 3rd player to have their 2nd chance 4 a 2nd win come to an end. This challenge will be run in rounds. 3 players per round, 1 from each challenge tribe. Danni and Yul still possess the PPTikis so they will begin this challenge with 2 points each. An excavation of a nearby Pagan ruins revealed that the early natives enjoyed playing a particular card game. Seemingly, they only had limited cards to work with so the game became something of their own creation.
There are eight cards: Ranging in value from; 2 < 3 < 4 < 5 < 6 < 7 < 8 < WildGoat. The 2 card being the lowest value, the Wild Goat card being the highest value. The game itself resembles "Hi-Lo", a predictive game wherein you guess if the next card will be Higher or Lower then the previous card. The Pagan version also included an "Exact" aspect. So, with 3 valid choices, (Higher, Lower or Exact) try to predict what the next card will be. Higher: Predicting the next card will be higher in value. Correct: 1 point. Incorrect: 0 points. Lower: Predicting the next card will be lower in value. Correct: 1 point. Incorrect: 0 points. Exact: Predicting the Exact value of the next card. Correct: 3 points. Incorrect: -1 point.
Your job: on behalf of the survivor of your choice, predict whether the next card will be Higher, Lower or Exact. Remember, with an "Exact" prediction you MUST predict which exact number it will be. 2 through Wild. I will come along each day to flip a card and tally the results. You will be given roughly 24 hours to post a prediction as to the value of the next days card. Rules... You may only make 1 guess per card. You must make that guess on behalf of one of the 3 currently participating castaways. Please respond ONLY to the current days card. Guessing at previously revealed cards is futile, so is responding in the wrong spot. Starting with The 1st Round.

Yep, I have a different tally as well because of the vote changes (Sorry about that, my strategy this round involves looking at other people's votes and changing mine accordingly )

73. "3rd Tribal Council" |
The Pagan Party Reward and Immunity Challenge Card game proved the ladies and the eldermen too crafty for the young guys to keep up with. Therefore the YapChuuk have a date with the snuffer. Aras ~ Ethan ~ JT ~ Jud ~ Rob ~ ToddTC Banter: JP: Welcome to Tribal Council, guys. Uh, Ethan, Todd and JT go ahead and grab your torch from behind you and light it in the fire. *the three new guys to tribal council do as directed* Now go ahead and take your seats. JP: Wow! That was almost a complete shut-out, guys. Even without the Danni and Yul advantages the older guys and the ladies beat out the young strong dudes? On paper, you have to admit, it should have been the young bucks the whole way. But for you, Aras, this is your third tribal council. What's up with that? Aras: I'm beginning to wonder too. I came in to the game prepared to really bring my A game and so far, my lack of luck has written my script for me. A game be dammed. A new vantage is what I seek. JP: That sounds as if you're changing strategies again. Are you? Aras: Well, I've been to 2 tribal councils before and I've survived but I'm a little scared of this 3rd time. 3rd time can be a charm but 3 strikes and you're out too. I again am packed. It's not a strategy change if I've remained aware of my lack of popularity status. JP: So, it's a game of popularity? Rob? You agree? Rob: You know it, Jeff! That's all this is. Regawdless of what Aras thinks he brought for this game, he still has to attone for his 1st win. Aras is gonna hafta somehow build a different alliance of supportahs. Although if he keeps going to Tribal his numbah will come up soonah rather than latah. On the other hand, I pretty much know I'm guaranteed a merge position, regardless of who I vote for tonight. I did NOT pack tonight. JP: Without Immunity, which all of you are indeed without, that comes off as a mighty bold statement. How's that make you feel, JT? JT: Like a I couldn't care less. Rob can do whatever he wants to. He's strong, he's strategic, he's a recent winner, he's popular and people are going to use him to fill the spot of post merge target. Todd: Sorry, JT, I don't mean to buttin but... (to Rob) I don't see Amber sitting around the fire tonight so I predict you have 1 less vote than you thought you had. JP: You have personal reasons for pointing out Rob's temporary lack of numbers? Todd: Yes. That's all it takes. A temporary lapse, whether in judgement, strategy, situation or decision....then *snap* you're gone. JP: So Jud, how does the guy who actually penalized his own challenge team figure into this whole popularity = free ride to merge thing? Jud: Hehe, I dunno, Jeff. I'm just playing this game, talking to people and hanging out. I give my all at challenges but I sometimes come up short. I hope no one targets me because of that. JP: So who do you think is in danger tonight? Jud: Yeah, again I dunno. I thought for sure the old guys would be here. But if I were to make a vote I'd probably write down the name of the player with the most chance of winning. JP: That leaves me with Ethan, So how are you voting this evening? Ethan: I'm actually voting along alliance lines. Long distance alliance lines. I have three bars on my shellcell. Good reception. Clear as a bell. Jenna, can you hear me now? JP: Okay, what better non-sequitor to begin the voting process with? Please enter the Private Voting Booth and make your vote for one of the young guys. Either; Aras, Ethan, JT, Jud, Rob or Todd.

I think you need some loser lodge." JT: Not Shown Aras: Not Shown Rob: Jud / "Listen, man. You remind me too much of Matt from Redemption. I just can't trust you." Todd: Not Shown *Todd sits* *JP retrieves the ballot box* JP: After the votes have been read, the decision is final, the bootee will have their torch snuffed and must leave the tribal council area immediately. 1st vote is for... Aras the next vote is for... Aras ...that's 2 votes for Aras our next vote is for... Jud ...2 votes for Aras and 1 vote for Jud next vote is for... Jud ...we have a tie. 2 votes for both Aras and Jud the next vote is for... Jud ...3 votes for Jud and 2 votes for Aras. and the last vote... Our 3rd bootee of Survivor 2nd Chances 4 a 2nd Win Jud ...Jud, bring me your torch. The tribe has spoken *snuff* The rest of you guys may head back to camp. *JP leaves the set and runs to the awaiting Jeep* JP: Step on it, Shortstop. EPMB is not gonna be happy about this! Shortstop: Whatchoo men, Heffe? JP: What do I mean? What do I mean? There's a rip in the farce. The Emperor must know of this. Just Drive! A new thread with the final 17 will begin soon.
