PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

Piers is leaving!http://www.realitytvworld.com/news/piers-morgan-leaving-talent-1026441.php Well, darn, he was the last of the original judges, and even though he was quick on the buzz I actually agreed with him a significant amount of the time. Brandy, the Hoff, Regis, replacement Springer, and now Piers. I'm going to blame Howie. Whatever. Thanks, Piers, for all the wonderful entertainment and curmudgeonness over the years. Your CNN show pretty much sucks and I hardly ever watch it, but hey good luck with that.

Bad news, indeed. PM was one of the reasons why I watched AGT. I will miss his "spot on" comments.

Agree. Way back in season 1 I warmed to Piers, he was tough but gave genuine critiques. He was brutally honest about what he thought was nonsense, but otherwise treated all acts with the same respect as any professional judging auditions. He gave critical commentary when he could.AGT needs that balance. For all the news recently about Howard Stern being in negotiations to replace Piers, I read somewhere that Simon Cowell would never have considered Stern. NBC does take it seriously, though, so it could happen. Some other background stuff, though, says Stern considers AGT a "karaoke show" and is using this to renegotiate his satellite radio contract. We'll see. Nothing against Stern, really, but I don't think he would bring any balance to the show, he would tip it to the sideshow acts that America really doesn't want to see on TV. The combination of Howie and Howard would just be stupid.
