Sounds like a few interesting collections and some of those may not be in a good way.

Does having Jessica Simpson as a guest judge, wearing an ill-fitting, poorly-designed Michael Kors outfit, mean that the show has long since jumped the shark? I vote yes.

3. "P.S."
Mondo and Andy seem to have gotten most of the praise for their collections.

Some praise for Valerie's very colorful collection (which she described as "the love child of David Bowie and Rainbow Brite") as well as for Gretchen, who may have just been eliminated before the show, and Michael C., who had a couple of nice pieces in an uneven collection. I also note that they were the only five pictured on the linked CBS site.

4. "RE: IMHO"
Which normally defies all the judges' opinions, I feel that Andy and Micheal C. have very strong looks on that runway!

I know that just because these people are on the runway, doesn't mean they are in the finale, but after seeing a few of the designs, I can't help but think that Andy and M.C. should be in the top. Those designs are polished, new, retro, amazing. Hints of Sibella, Carrol, former designers who have made it to the top.

I hope, for EVERYONE'S sake that Ivy and Gretchen are lying under a city bus during this event-that is where both of the belong! I know they are probably very talented, but these women have to be 2 of the nastiest women ever on PR. OK, Bennett was close, but Ivy even tops her!

A perfect reality show: Ivy with Omarosa! I'm sure Trump and Heidi could find a way for those two to compete in something. Maybe have Ivy design Omarosa some clothes so she can see how SHE treats everyone around her! Karma-baby! Ain't it a beyotch...

7. "RE: P.S."
If they were the only five pictured on the linked CBS site, then I suspect they were the Final 5; with Andy, Mondo and Valerie most likely being the Final 3. That means April, Christopher, Ivy and Michael D. will be the next four to go.

That's actually what I was thinking as well. Plus, Seth Aaron said that his favorite collections were from Mondo and Valerie.

The thing that argues against Valerie in the final three is that there was a long (about 5 minute) delay before Gretchen's collection (7th in line) started, which observers said was caused by repositioning of the TV cameras. Mondo (8th) and Andy (10th) showed after Gretchen, as did April (9th). But Valerie (2nd) showed before Gretchen. I think the fact that she was before the TV time out eliminates her.

Just from a spoiling perspective, last year's final three (also with 10) showed 7th, 8th and 9th. If they did that again, the final three would be Gretchen, Mondo and April. I'm relatively certain that Gretchen and Mondo, at least, are in the final three.

You might have a point there. I'm sure Mondo's in the Final 3 at least. Who's joining him is a bit of a question mark, but if the repositioning of the TV cameras was before Gretchen's collection was shown, that might well indicate that Gretchen also made it there. I'd like to see Andy in there as well.

After looking at them, I would pick Andy Mondo April as the best 3. That spoiler sounds pretty good, though, so paired with the link, the most likely seems like Andy Mondo Gretchen.

But Gretchen's line looks terrible and I think she'd do better if it was for real, so still hoping against hope that April makes it.

Valerie's my favorite, but that spoiler sounds like she it AUF.

The thing arguing against Gretchen being in the final three was that she supposed sounded depressed and downbeat when she introduced her line, as if (as speculated by at least two people that were there, including the NYT critic) she had just been eliminated right before the showing. That would support a Mondo-April-Andy final three.

See the NYT review:
http://runway.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/09/09/a-chance-to-be-tim-gunn/#more-4329

Edited to add: However, the NYT critic's praise for Casanova's gawdawful collection leads me to question the critic's judgment. As far as Gretchen's collection goes, it at least seemed to be well-made, with the necessary finishing touches -- which would argue in favor of her being in the final four, if she didn't make it to the end, and then the producers pulling an increasingly standard last-minute elimination, which we first saw in season 4.
