"Where is the love ?"
I have to say, these six women are as distant and cold, as can be.
I am not sure what the problem is with these new cast members.
Maybe, they could use a little fun time together. Nothing like a good time to draw womanhood together.
As it stands now, it seems forced upon them to show compassion. Which only comes off as shallow and insincere from each member. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks.
Also, for those against Dr. Stan...I think he gives the women in the house a real element of men and how they influence women's lives.

I agree with you! Last year most groups bonded very quickly.

After today's episode...I was gonna say the same thing! Everybodys so touchy-feely this season. Like walking on egg shells around eachother. Not all, but most.

So far Jill is the least melodramatic. And Lisa and TJ are played out to be too outspoken but they may have good intentions, while others judge their every move and sentence (uh hum..Alison).I think they are used to an envirnoment where they can talk without thinking anyone is going to judge her or question her motives. (Like anybody that isn't living in a psych ward really?)
I feel sorry for Lisa and Tj if anything. The casting was totally off and personalities will clash as a result. One half is too blunt, the other half is too sensitive. Perhaps its all for ratings.

Where is the love? You have to receive love to give it. Other than Jill whose mother loves her but was abandoned by her father, thus no love there, creating trust issues, and Lisa, whose parents not so much loved her as coddled her egregiously, none of the other women seem to have had sufficient, or any, parental love. Allison with her alcoholic parents and brother and Christina with IMO her criminally neglectful parents are the worst cases. Jessica is coming off as wierd to me, so I'll pass on her for now (people who come from loving families tend to bond with others easily!)

In addition to familial love, how many of the women there even have women friends? The show was pre-empted a lot last week in my area, but in those I've seen, no one has called a girlfriend. No one seems to have girlfriends. That is the task for these women - to learn to connect/bond with other women.

It would be nice if they had at least one woman with leadership qualities in the House. She would pull them together - for good or ill - but she would get them to work, think and act as a team. Every other SO group has had at least 2 leader types. This one has none. All these women are disconnected to other women, inside and outside the house.
