"RE: Juliette and Ben" Ben & Juliette seem to be ex somethings and current co-workers (dating, husband/wife). It seems Ben still has the upper hand in leadership, but Juliette is also a leader of sorts. "RE: Juliette and Ben" If I had to guess, I'd say that Ben is the leader, but maybe he's been elected. The members of the society are at least *supposed* to be otherwise equal. Maybe Ben's taking more power than he should, and while some people don't mind that (as the guy who accused her of choosing the book simply because Ben wasn't there), Juliette is not a happy camper. Only the older woman at book club seemed to have any respect for Juliette. Ben, however, still have a lot of respect for Juliette.
