Krista was convinced by Mike that keeping Will in is smart because if she is going to win, who better to go into the Final Two vote with than the guy everyone but Mike & Shannon hate? (ED NOTE: Apparently neither of these two media whores watched Survivor I and a little final vote between two people called Kelly and Rich)Nicole also apparently was up all night talking to Mike and is now convinced Mike is a nice guy, and passed this along to Krista (assuming Krista planned to put Will up.) In the meantime, Nicole also revealed that 1) she was one of folks asking for Justin to leave, 2) she accidently kinda let split to Mike this morning that it was Monica and not Krista who was the 3rd Nicole vote in the first ejection (Mike, Shannon, and Will had all assumed Krista was with them and had voted for Nicole.)
Krista also thinks Will isn't that bad because she held her head or some such crap when she was throwing up the first night, and she is also convinced that whoever puts will up one of the 3 Brat's is going to get FIVE enemies for the final two vote -- she's convinced Will, Mike, Shannon, Sheryl, and Justin (yes, she still thinks they will let Justin back in for the final vote) will all vote as a block and "take vengence" on whoever put up one of the Brat Three.
The bottom line was that Krista hates Autumn so she was picked. The other pick was originally going to be Nicole or Hardy, but Hardy, Monica, and the other real people kinda flipped when Krista revealed to them that she was going to put up NONE of the Brats. ...so she claims to have decided to randomly pull the second person's key from a closed bag -- with Kent's being the key that came up. I use the word "claim" because it wasn't shown on film, she was called into the BB room for a lonngggg time right before the feeds blanked out.
Another interesting point: during the time that Krista revealed her original plan to put two of Autumn, Nicole, and Hardy up, Bunky was the only person smart enough to explain to her that this could put the three Brats back into power (she kept claiming they are all harmless as an alliance now, there are only three of them now) -- explaining that if a non-Brat person goes in the 2nd vote, and either Will or Shannon win the next HoH and put up two more non-Brat's, then after the 3rd vote the "Real People" will only have 5, and the Brat's still 3 (with one of the 5 likely having to serve as HoH and not get a vote)
