I was just wondering what the judges said about Fantasia's performance tonight. I forgot to change the clock on my VCR when I was taping it and missed the first 10 minutes or so.

Randy and Paula loved it. Simon said it was mediocre and she screeched parts. I thought it was somewhere in the middle, but definitely one of the best of the night - the first 2 (she and JPL) and last 2 (Latoya and Jennifer) were good, with the ones in the middle being weak to bad

Simon said she was the reason that they remind finalists to be serious beacuse she has never put her lips to better use.

I don't think the judges have ever been particularly harsh with Fantasia. Feels like she is their favorite to win. I think she could have made it in the music business without this show, so I wouldn't mind seeing someone else take it in the end. (Just not Johnny Red please.)
