I was watching "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" today and Quentin was a guest. When Ryan asked him who he thinks should win AI he picked Jennifer. I thought you'd like this one shedevil.

I just hope that Jennifer will be more careful about the choice of songs . She should not sing songs that are not known and are uninspring. Like the one she sang at Motown night- an Aretha Franklin song only Aretha and Jennifer can appreciate. No wonder she was at the bottom 3 then despite her good rendition of the song.
The only problem is.... the judges can be very unpredictable. No matter how well Jennifer performs, the judges may still come out with some weird comments that can sway voters away from jennifer.
For example, I thought she was very good during the elimination period with her rendition of 'Imagine'. But because of the negative comments from all the 3 judges (I dont know where those comments came from), she was elimnated.
Jennifer is very good but she is facing a very stiff competition from Latoya and Fantasia (not to mention Jasmine who may pull off an Inseparable-like performance later).

What the judges do is compliment you early on--and then they start to turn on you when they feel it's near your time to go. A lot of the crop perceived to be "in danger", such as Diana, Jasmine, and Jon got complimentary marks early on, but slowly, the judges have been turning on them, as in telling the audience that "their time is near".For now, Jennifer is ok--unless she totally bombs, but I think that they want her to finish around 4th, so they may start to get increasingly negative starting next week.

He also said that the winner would be one of the 3 divas and that Fantasia didn't need this competition anymore because she could walk into any label and get a contract. I think the same could be said for Jennifer and Latoya.

Kimberly Caldwell and Carmen Rasmussen picked Fanstasia while Trencye picked Latoya. Since Trencye finshed the highest of the 3, I'll go with her pick- the best singer IMHO on all the seasons- LATOYA! While Quentin T. picked Jennifer, in the words of Simon- whoopee! I'll call Jennifer if we have a revival!

Jennifer Hudson has a really strong voice, however; she's not dependable. She was wonderful with the Elton John song, and she was really good with BM last night. Not sure that she qualifies as AI. (My Opinion)

Jennifer Hudson has a really strong voice, however; she's not dependable. She was wonderful with the Elton John song, and she was really good with BM last night. Not sure that she qualifies as AI. (My Opinion) I don't feel that's true anymore. She has had 3 wonderful performances in a row. That's a little too long to be called a fluke or temporary. She has improved and grown in this competition, and I think she's right, It's Jenny's world. She's finally found where she needs to be.

Jenny from the block is far and away the best vocalist in this group. Her technique is better, her range is better...she's just better.But she's not the best performer. Should she win? Absolutely. Will she? Probably not...and that's a shame.
