While he's been the most consistently annoying, other Edenists have been more annoying approaching the banishment ceremonies, and it's the recent actions that have counted most. There's also the gender division (to date) in the banishment: males or females vulnerable -- but not both. That means Matt's going to be safe half the time, no matter what he does. Expect this to change: the mixed-gender banishment will appear as soon as the contestants are used to the current format -- but the current pattern should continue for a few more episodes. And since our largest number of banishments in a week has been two (again, if the show lasts long enough, we'll get a group exit), it could take a while to cycle through to Matt. ...on the bright side, we've got that much more time to say what we really think about him.
