niknik 7 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "American Cancer Society Spokesperson" 03-05-04, 07:19 PM (EST) "Apply / Casting Calls" Has anyone applied to be on The Apprentice 2? Does anyone plan to attend one of the casting calls? If you attend the casting call in person, do you still need to prepare and bring a 10 minute VHS tape?   Top

I used to want to be on Survivor, but now it's getting so bad...well...no thanks! I'm going to apply, but I just went to the site today and saw that I only have 6 days to do the application, photo and video. That's pushing it! They are even coming to my home town (New Orleans) to do a casting call, but I'll be at a marketing conference in Canada that week. So...I either have to get my packet done by the 11th, or I've got to fly to Atlanta on the 20th for a casting call. Ugh, so little time!   Top

And to all of those who posted saying that it would be cool for a non-high school graduate to get accepted...that might be me. I quit school in the 9th grade, got my GED, became a casino craps dealer, went to an art school for two years and received an associates degree in Multimedia and programmed commercially distributed educational CD-ROMs, then taught myself programming and database development for the web, then started my own web development company, then started my own adventure race photography and videography business, and now while still running my two companies, I am the head of marketing and advertising for a large, two-location, up-scale hunting store.   Top

There's nothing like hard work to help your luck along. If I went on the show I would have to bring my 4-year-old along to the Trump Suite, and on all my assignments. He's really no trouble, can sleep in the bed with me, doesn't eat much, really, really, he might even make himself useful, he's good for fetching things, can I bring him, can I? He's potty trained... Oh well, this kind of show just isn't cut out for everybody.   Top

They're 13 and 11 and my husband is a great hands-on dad. My son actually is begging me to audition.   Top

I often think that the ones with less school education and more practical education have alot more to offer. However, I understand that all of his candidates had an extremely high IQ. Does anyone know if he actually gives an IQ test to the potential contestants? Not sure how I would do in that department but have felt all along that I would fair well or better at times with the current contestants on most all of their tasks. I do lack the youth (I am 41) and the "hotty" factor that seems to be neccesary for the show. However, after 20 years of bartending I have mastered the people skills/relations department which most of these brainiacs seem to lack. I think "niknik", that yours is the PERFECT story for the Apprentice and I hope to see you on round 2. Don't hesitate!! Go for it!!   Top

I'm not sure if they give an IQ test or not, but I have been tested twice before and have scored in the 135-140 range. I'm 32 and for looks, I would say about an 8 or so out of 10. Here's my pic...
