This is my first actual post (as opposed to a reply), so here goes nothing... I've watched both seasons of the Apprentice (for the most part it's the only reality TV show I watch) and I've noticed that they pull a lot of camera tricks and mood music during certain scenes. Whenever the candidates do something that's going to be called a stupid move later, you get a kind of goofy music playing int he background for example. There are some scenes though, where without that music, I believe I'd never think of what they did as being a mistake. So my question is, how much do you think little editing tricks like this manipulate your view of who is incompetent, or scheming, or brilliant, etc?
