StarryLuna 4771 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Stuff Magazine Centerfold" 06-16-04, 08:38 AM (EST) "Happy Wednesday!" Its my first day of summer break, woo-hoo! Strangely enough, its still a very busy day for me. This morning, I'm doing laundry and I need to clean my apartment, because I've greatly neglected it for the last few weeks with Dad being in the hospital and all. After that's done, fiance and I are off to the courthouse to get our marriage license! This afternoon, my fiance has a job interview for an IT position with my school system. Keep your fingers crossed, it would be great for us if he could get this job. He'd be making $10,000 to $12,000 more than he's making right now, he'd have a much shorter commute (10 minutes versus an hour) and because we'd both be employed by the county, we'd get free health insurance! (Once we're married, of course.) While he's doing that, I'm going to the dentist to get my front teeth fixed before the wedding. Anybody else doing anything exciting today? He rushed home a little sooner than he should have and it's really knocked him on his @ss. He hasn't been back to work since he went home, but his boss keeps bringing him the paperwork so he doesn't get too far behind. I have to go get him this weekend and take him back to the doctor on Monday to get the stitches/staples removed. I talked to him a little while ago and he sounds good. He's been getting out and walking around the house but he still can't drive. Fortunately, he's got a lot of people looking out for him and bringing him groceries and other necessities. It's my best friend's birthday today and I'm thinking of bringing her something to surprise her because she's been kinda down lately.
