Hello all! I was irritated by today's show, so forgive me if I sound hostile.
Maureen has an eye infection. She mentions that Nyanza's thongs are "flung" all over the bathroom, on Maureen’s towel, etc. I am not quite sure if Maureen was implying that Nyanza's thongs may have given her the infection, but she did say that she hopes the thongs didn't touch her toothbrush. EWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
During our pleasant morning meeting, we see the group not speaking, but not getting along. The tension is THICK!
It seems that Nyanza has finished her first step to becoming authentic. WOW WEEE! Such a sweet woman. It is obvious some of the group (Andy Lori, and Maureen) think this is a load of bull. Then we listen to Cassie who is having a hard time with her etiquette coach. She does not want to make a three course meal for her, and suddenly she does not like the coach. She is swearing up a storm during the meeting. It looked to me like Cassie was very comfortable in the kitchen...I'm not too sure why she was so stressed. I guess it was just the point of having to do something she did not want to do. We learn that Christine has lost 4.5 pounds and 3 inches (I think) and has gone down a dress size. Good for Christine! If only she could just loose Nyanza, she'd be in good shape.
It is obvious that Rana (a "life coach") is getting stressed out about the childish behavior of some of the group; she asks if anyone has anything to add, of course, no one says a word.
Cassie does a good job with the 3 course meal...as soon as the etiquette coach leaves, she lets out a HUGE belch in front of Maureen and Christine. I had to laugh.
Christine works with her personal trainer. They are getting Christine ready for the 5km race. This is a little over 3 miles. Christine whines because the trainer wants her to run for 30 seconds. He agrees to decrease it to 10. She also gets a new pair of shoes for the race.
Here we go! The Nitty gritty of today's episode. Picture Cassie, Christine and Nyanza in a bedroom gossiping up a storm. It looks like a hen house. BTW, they have dubbed themselves the "trifecta". How mature. Nyanza is saying that they don't have to stay in their assigned bedrooms and she wants out of the room she shares with Maureen. She just can't get over the fact that Maureen said "F-You" to Nyanza after Nyanza complained about Maureen’s bathing habits. Nayanza then has the nerve to say Lori needs a college degree, and mocks the way Lori dances. She actually gets up, and dances like her. HUH? How rude! Cassie and Christine just sit there and laugh. Shame on you Christine. Get some b@lls! I kid you not, my mouth hung open during this whole segment. I wish I could put into words how these 3 acted.
Now we have a sweet little group meeting, of course initiated by Evilanza (my new name for Nyanza). She tells the group that she does not want to share a room with Maureen. Maureen tells her flat out that she is not going to move. GO MAUREEN! So Evilanza decides to move to the guest room. This meeting does not go well. Lori is sitting there laughing, and Maureen looks like she is going to go postal.
Later, Lori confronts Evilanza one on one. Lori has some valid points to make with the devil. For example, discuss your problems with Maureen one on one. Good point, right? Well Evilanza tells Lori that this is how she is working on being authentic. HAHAHAHA!
So, what have we learned today? Those women can be catty! I take back my feelings on who is going to leave first. I think and STRONGLY hope it is Nyanza. She has no purpose there. I hate to say it, but I think she is a lost cause.
