Look above to what nasty things are being said before everyone's name before they post.Have you all notice that when you look on the boards for new posts this unsettleing comment is behind ones name? Mine says along with all who post my name Anita the desperate attention whore posting. This is very upsetting.

Anita,Back when we first added the message counter feature, we found that a number of people became quite obsessed with how many posts they made (including me, by the way). So, we decided that those of us who kept posting to boost our post counts were desperately whoring ourselves for attention -- and we dubbed the top posters "desperate attention whores." Thus, the post count kept track of how many "desperate attention whore postings" (or DAWs) each person had. In addition, a different type of "occupation" goes along with different numbers of posts, based on things that real reality show contestants have done in an effort to extend their 15 minutes of fame. However, I would like to point out that the proper place for a question like this is in the Help Forum, where the term DAW was discussed here. I'm sorry if you find the use of the term "whore" offensive, but it helps all of us remember not to take this too seriously. It's just TV. AyaK  Soylent Green: recycling America, one person at a time.
