i think both seasons of amazing race and survivor has got by far the best looking guys and also the most stupid ones...Derek and Drew (Amazing Race): hmmm... so far it seems like they are living up to the "model with no brains" sterotype. who in his right mind would go and race for the fast forward on foot, and leave their backpacks in a cab... in mexico city, no less? these men good for a one-night stand threesome but not for the race. Robb (Survivor): where is your common sense, you impulsive little bastard! talks before he thinks. and hey don't you dare take on the Shii-Devil! she's got more spunk than you and your skateboard. i suggest you burn that skateboard in your camp fire! its no use.

Same here, this is the TAR Spoilers forum, this should be on TAR Bashers. See there are three forums for TAR (just like Survivor). One for Fanatics, those that just like to talk nice things about the show. Bashers, those who want to poke fun at the show and the contestants (like this particular thread you started) and Spoilers, which is to try to outmaneuver the producers and the network and find out what happens ahead of time, in other words, spoil the show. You are a newbie, and that's cool, we all made this kind of mistakes when we first started posting. Be more careful in future, but do stick around. Welcome to the boards, this whole place is fun, glad you found us

>footI thought this was a great move!... The Fast Forward opened at 8am (no one could try to claim it before then... otherwise someone obviously would have). D&D left at 7:45 to jog a few blocks and save their money for later in the race. Their only error was in misjudging the amount of time necessary to get there. They should have left 5 minutes earlier, so they could have been there at 8am with the brothers. >and leave their backpacks
>in a cab... This just shows that they've watched previous races. In the past, it has been a HUGE advantage to keep the same cab until after you verify that you do not need a cab any more. Leaving their backpacks in the truck just ensured that the driver would be willing to accept payment later, and also gave them less to carry for the short jog to the flag. However, they should have told the driver that they would only be a minute... it appears that he decided to circle around a long way (to give them time), and this hurt them. It would have been really nice for one of them to stay with the cab while the other ran to get the clue, but the rules stipulate that with the exception of the Road Block, BOTH team members must go to the location of each clue, so they had no choice. >Robb (Survivor): Ummmm... wrong forum... even after I moved this to TAR Bashers.

I still don't think it was a bright move to leave your bags. I would maybe tell the cab to leave the meter running, and not pay him, but by leaving your bags, he now has something more valuable than the 400 pesos you were going to pay him.Further more, it seemed like a crowded area, and getting a new cab seemed much similiar than finding the old one. I think part of the problem is the Doubledumb twins got lost around the circle

Oh I hope these nitwit twins stick around for awhile. They are adding to the comical fun of the show. We don't need all serious contenders the first few weeks. We need the confused too.
