munson 1314 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Beef Jerky Spokesperson" 03-19-03, 10:05 PM (EST) "RW/RR BOTS Update" Veronica's DQ gets her a big "0" and costs her a spot in the Inner Circle. Theo's DQ got him booted from the game so could be worse. Emily and Eric did well enough to position themselves for a push toward the top three. Ruthie reclaims first place among the girls, Blair survives another week. Veronica in a sixth place tie but doesn't survive long enough for the upcoming Laser Tag challenge in Week 13. It's past my bedtime since I get up at 4:30, but I try to catch it on the weekends, but sometimes I'm busy! Anyways! I appreciate the updates and I too am rooting for Emily, she is a very tough competitor, but watch out for her if you are on her bad side! So . .Theo is gone. Hmmm-I liked him. Sure, that's what Emily would like everyone to believe but we've seen from the beginning of the show that Emily doesn't like Veronica. Plain and simple. This wasn't going to work with Ruthie and Ellen so she needed justification to sway them into voting her way. Veronica was till ahead of Anne, Ayanna and Genesis in the standings. She was in the Inner Circle (in Emily's "spot") before falling off the triangles. We have no evidence that Veronica was "mean mean" or "walked around making everyone feel bad about themselves." Anne might agree. Emily claims Ayanna and Genesis agreed as well but we don't see or hear them say it. What we have is Emily doing anything she could to get Veronica out. Got to give her props, tho. We should have sent Emily over to Iraq - bet she could have talked Saddham into exile. Who knew she was so persuasive? She almost blew it when she was trying to convince Ellen and Ruthie that getting rid of Veronica would be good for the team. When they responded that the decision wasn't going to go over well, she said she didn't care what the team thought. Hypocracy, thy name is Emily. Whatever. So Veronica hooked up with James back in the day. Grown ass woman acting like it's junior high. Don't get me wrong. I think Emily has earned the right to be in the top three through her perfomance. If the girl's want the best team in the finals, they need Ruthie, Emily and Ellen. She had every right to get rid of Veronica if she could do it and I'm very impressed that she pulled it off. Just don't try to spin it for the public announcement. This wasn't about team morale. It was about Emily's morale.   Top

"RE: RW/RR BOTS Update" - I didn't like Veronica's tone when she mocked Emily during the inner circle meeting after James went ahead and did the nudity challenge thing. - According to Lori's journal, it was Veronica who masterminded the "let Emily's partner take a fall" plot. - She has said that she would like to vote off Emily if she could. Those actions are "mean mean" enough to me. Like Baqua, I'm a biased Emily supporter, though.   Top

"RE: RW/RR BOTS Update" As far as Genesis, Ayanna and Anne not speaking up, here's why: (i think) that they knew it was such an unpopular decision and to speak up about it would just cause conflict. Especially Anne, who everyone thought was going home. It would have been weird for her to defend Emily's decision when everyone thought she was going to go.I think they are relieved she is gone, but we will have to wait until next episode to hear their reactions to it. Anne 196 Following "Starirway to Heaven", Mark takes the lead amongst the guys as Colin, gimpy ankle and all, remains in the Inner Circle another week. Blair survives another week - by one point - and Syrus is sent packing. On the ladies side, Melissa's embarassing performance drops her from the IC, and open the door for Emily, the top performer amongst the ladies this week, to reclaim her spot and get Veronica booted out. Next episode features the "Laser Tag" challenge. Preview seems to indicate that the guys are targeting Ellen and isn't Jamie just a huge freak anyway? Keep in the mind the differential in points is shrinking with each elimination and the spread is now 15 with 16 contestants left. So, unless there is a DQ - or several - Blair is doomed as he is 20 points out of seventh place. Anne also appears to be in a dangerous position, 19 points behind Ayanna. We heard Emily agree to eliminate the lowest score the rest of the way after Veronica was gone but since Anne is her bestest bud on the show, this promise might be iffy at best. Biggest surprise so far for me? Definitely Antoine. Currently in fifth position but no face time at all. Melissa in fourth so late in the game is also a bit of a shocker but if the challenges continue to be physical, look for her to drop - FAST!   Top

BUT, because MTV is operating an official game surrounding the events of the show, the results posted on the site and points awarded must be accurate. Ya know, legal requirements and everything. Official results show Emily beat Ruthie up the ladder. EDIT: sticks, something about what you said struck me as odd so I went back and watched last week's episode again. Sure enough, you were right. Emily reached the top in 45:09. Ruthie, who sprinted to the top, had a time of 33:31! So back over to MTV and again, Emily got 31 points for the mission, Ruthie 30. Are BMP up to their old tricks again?   Top
