"Has Charla become too powerful?"
Let's think about this. Charla was the underdog from the begining and she has been able to stick it out. She has stayed under the radar and has successfully created a group to pick off the original a$$holes. It was a good move, the powerful present the greatest threat. Therefore the powerful need to be taken out.

Now, Charla is the greatest threat. The group she has put together is pretty much in charge. The "originals" are now the underdogs. Charla has created a coalition that includes Dave and Keith, both of whom seem to be targets. But, if a person wants to play the game to win you have to take out the head. Like they took out Toni. Now, Charla is the head of the group in power. I think that in the next two weeks, Charla will be taken down because she now poses the biggest threat.

I think someone posed that question a while ago also, and I'd have to agree with you both. Once the underdogs become the topdogs, it stands to reason that the topdogs would once again be the target.

However, the whole Originals v. New guys was predicated on the thought that the originals didn't welcome anyone to paradise. So I guess what I'm trying to say is that I don't know if Charla has gained too much control.

I think as long as Charla has Dave and Keith around she is safe. Her and Tara could pick between them and they will save them. But who knows what Holly will do next. Kristin will stick with Alex and Dave and Keith are not crazy about Amy. Amy will be too busy trying to save all the original guys for Zack. Meanwhile Zack has probably already forgotten about Amy.

lol..I think Ack oops Zack forgot about LAmy before he even left. Remember he was the best looking guy there..according to himself of course.

With regards to Charla and her power grab. She was a little standoffish in the beginning but far as I can tell she's been the same person throughout. She loathed most of the originals in the beginning and she still loathes them now. The question now is whether she'll still be semi-innocent Charla or power-drunk Charla and I haven't seen any signs of her growing power going to her head yet. Time will tell though.

oh yeah...I think she's the hottest girl there..though in the beginning the 'tude turned me off a bit to her.

I really like Charla. I'm glad she's finally getting some ppl behind her. She deserves to be at the top of the game. I also think once Amy is gone Charla won't be threatened by any of the new commers on the show and getting kicked off. She showed everyone there she had every right to be there as much as them.

The thing is *no one* in the other group realizes how powerful Charla has become. At least not yet. Look at how long it took those buffoons to realize that Charla was in fact plotting against them. (In fact, I suspect that the producers told Toni and it wasn't a "gut" feeling)

Even after she did that, Amy still thought "Charla wasn't strong enough" to take out the group. Charla is being a good actress. Look at how shocked she and Tara pretended to be when Toni accussed them of plotting. For all they know it's Keith or Tara who is the mastermind behind everything.

At most, only 3 more girls will be evicted until the end, and as long as Amy keeps acting ridiculous and Kristin keeps threatening people, Charla will keep plotting and staying under the radar.

It's possible that someone who comes in watching the show will come in with a plan to take out Charla, but as long as the newcomers don't abuse their power like the originals did, then I think they have a shot.

I agree with you about that.

I think so, too. Charla has appeared only to dislike the originals because of the way they treat others - and who can argue with her there? She seems to have remained predictably reliable throughout. Now Tara, though, is another story. As long as Charla remains weary of her, I don't foresee an "abuse" of power from the "Outsider" group.
