PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.
As entertainment critic Roger
Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

LAST EDITED ON 11-17-03 AT 07:51 PM (EST)Simpsons South Park Joan of Arcadia That 70's Show (sometimes- when I can actually remember that the new ones are on on Wednesdays) Edited to add: -Daily Show -Conan O'Brien both of which I watch (out of sheer lunacy ) a lot more frequently than That 70's, but it's always the reruns that are on during the afternoon and early evening, since lord knows it's all I can do to stay up late enough even for South Park. That's about it. Every now and again, I catch one of these new sitcoms that are on, and one will strike me funny. But never funny enough to remember when it was on and watch again. I used to really love "Haunted History" that was on the History Channel, and would watch or tape it every Friday. I don't know if they are still making new ones or what, but I haven't seen it on in a while. That's one I really miss.
Sentence first. Verdict afterwards.

I'll squeeze in reality here because the list is short. A. Survivor B. TAR C. I was gonna do my list, but I have a rant first. okay, a question first. What in the world are they thinking when they stick another CSI Miami in Judging Amy's hour on tuesday. It's the stoopid november sweeps, right? Amy always wins it's time slot. so wtf? okay.i'm done. (those idiots) i have tv on a lot, even when i'm doing other things.i love wednesdays. Ed (and of course there's Angel and Enterprise- because there are so many hours of good programming these are all on at the same time...) West Wing (oh - and Smallville -same reason!) (doofs) I also love Everwood, Joan of Arcadia, Friends, and well, there are a few more, but I'm still grumpy. smile therapy I'll return with a happier disposition.

I had to check it out the first ep. and i was hooked. There's 'somebody' behind this show with a real grasp of the Big Picture. I really think there's been nothing like it, although some of 'those moments' on Northern Exposure struck the cord. I just lvoe a tv hour that flies by because you're so hooked in, and so sorry when it's over. They've done that, and I am impressed.
Nice to see it's getting an audience, too. yay.

Regular Non-Reality is down to 24 and Angel. The occasional Simpsons, but not as faithfully as I once was. With Futurama out of the line-up, I no longer have the Sunday night hook I once had. As for non-non-reality, I've become hooked on Trading Spaces and While You Were Out. I also am very fond of Clean Sweep.

I like Sweep, too. It gives you a lovely (albeit false) sense of accomplishment when they turn the Howard Hughes disaster sites into serene organized offices and bedrooms.Speaking of Simpsons, think they jumped that shark. Can't point to an exact episode, but after the last Halloween special Sneetch and I looked at each other and went "Wow. That sucked!" It was a sad moment for us both. Not much.--CSI (altho I think the show has jumped the shark this season) --Cold Case (I just started that one) --StarGate SG-1 --Enterprise --Letterman (is he a show?) --Sometimes I watch Without A Trace just because it's after CSI. Although I don't think it's a good show, I'm not sleepy enough for bed yet. That's it. I've gotten sick of Trading Spaces this year & don't watch anymore. All the rooms look tacky to me now. My husband is a big Monster House fan. I don't know though... the "host" really pisses me off because he's smug and a jerk. I cringe when I watch because they take houses and make them into theme parks-- it's too much for me. But I agree with you all about Trading Spaces-- I was a fan from the first episode in the Alex McLeod days, but I rarely get around to watching my Tivo'd eps these days. Talk about jumping the shark...And-- where's Vern been? On to bigger and better I hope. I agree about Paige-- ever since she starting getting body-builder-buff she's been increasingly obnoxious. My hubby and I ran into her in Vail a year and a half ago and we were THRILLED back then, but now... no thanks. PS-- don't read her book! It's all about her and the fun clothes she gets to wear. Blecch!
