My husband posed this question tonight and I don't know the answer. I'm hoping someone else knows because it's going to bug me.
Do the people who make it to the top 10 get paid? Or is the chance for a music career their payment?

Well, I DO know that they get to live in that huge house for free, and drive a free car...that would be all the payment that I would need, personally!I am sure they would have to get some spending money, how else would they update their looks? Ya know?
