Paula Abdul Bawls Constantly on 'American Idol' Set

Former pop icon Paula Abdul is forcing make-up artists on the set of her show American Idol to work overtime - because tough-talking co-judge Simon Cowell constantly makes her cry. The Opposites Attract singer's penchant for bursting into tears whenever the cameras stop rolling on the TV show has caused staff to religiously stand by with tissues and extra-strength waterproof mascara to clean her up. An on-set source complains, "Paula can be a sobbing mess. Because she's always welling up, it's hard to keep her face together. It's tough to keep up with those unsightly streaks running down her cheeks." And once producers have taped a segment, there's even a huge rush in post- production to make Paula look better with digital manipulation, sources tell American tabloid the Globe. The source continues, "She's so emotional. Her facial expressions make her look like a deer caught in headlights." But Simon's not the only source of 40-year-old Paula's emotional outbursts - she also breaks down when she sees footage of herself played back. The source adds, "She's aged and hasn't held up that well. When she gets a glimpse of herself in the monitors, that's it. "At times, the faucet turns on and the water spews down."

Reason #108 to fire her whiny ass.

Oh dear, I've re-dorkulated!

Let's see if I can't make Paula cry some more. This is an actual painting of her made by some guy.

Every time Paula starts to turn into a crybaby, maybe the shows' producers need to remind her how much money she's making to sit on her a$$ and contribute nothing to the show. That should make the tears go away.

I must admit, though, she is looking pretty haggard for her age. Somebody spent too much time in the tanning salon.
