I would love nothing more than for them to eliminate "I Will Always Love You" from that list. I love the song "Walkaway Joe" and I know nobody will sing it. I'm good with that though since nobody could sing it... except Adam, of course.

LAST EDITED ON 03-06-09 AT 10:37 AM (EST)I was thinking about which song(s) on that list I would love to hear Adam doing. And "Fancy"! jumped out at me. "Shameless" makes me swoony but I can't picture anybody here making me swoon... except maybe Danny. Sorry! Another song that might make you vomit if Danny performed it is "The Dance"... I think that would be a perfect choice for him. "Celebrity" would get mocking this awful show points! Could any of these people do Carrie Underwood justice? "Anyway" just reminded me of KLC from last year. She did that well, iirc. I love "You're Gonna Miss This".

From VFTW: We are recommending that the contestants pick "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" for maximum VFTW support.Normund would have rocked this song.

This could spell disaster for some of them. Do we have to listen to 13 country songs??? Yikes.I would like to see Danny sing a song by Lonestar like "Amazed" or "I'm all ready there". He sang "I hope you dance" in Hollywood so hopefully he won't repeat that. One of my favorite songs is "I go back" by Kenny Chesney. He could do that one. Alexis or Allison should sing something by Reba or maybe Martina. Adam - this one will be interesting. His range could do so many artists, but there aren't many country artists with his range, KWIM? "Fancy" is a good option. OH! Rascal Flatts did "Life is a Highway" that could be good! Or some Big and Rich just for fun? Matt G should sing some Keith Urban "Somebody Like You" Anoop - well....hmmm. A crossover hit would work best. Not sure on him. Hey, Jorge could sing "to all the girls I've loved before"! Thank you, Agman

Oh, I see that now about the list. I didn't click on the link. I was just thinking of country songs that they could possibly sing. Just having fun. And you are absolutely right. Some of them should not sing flat-out country. I think Michael may be our only "country" singer.

LAST EDITED ON 03-06-09 AT 02:43 PM (EST)Oh, well, that's a little better than 13 country songs. And I agree with Glow. I don't have that kind of patience either. Not a big Michael Jackson fan (although I do still have my Thriller album).

linkMaybe the 13 wasn't planned, or someone didn't bother to think ahead. Or there is someone that isn't bribable to give up a phone number at any price. American Idol only owns the 01-12 numbers. 00 and 13 (and others) appear to be owned by a phone sex company.

Don't worry. Anyone dialing those numbers will just assume they've successfully voted for Adam.

A list of hints about who may be singing whatA little birdie gave me some insight on song choices for the week. But, I’m hearing there’s been some conflict over who gets what… but this is what I’ve been told as of this morning (Sun): Lil wants to keep us satisfied. Kris is singing to all his fangirls. Adam is good - and you know it! Alexis is not ready to bid farewell. Danny has to be careful of what he does in this round. Anoop’s doing this one for the ladies. Megan is a little wistful. Jorge wants to give you a special feeling. Scott sees the benefit of we. Jasmine is contemplating some deep issues. Michael wants to assure you that he’ll be around. Allison may be a girly girl, but she’s got that spark! Matt is taking a long, hard look at his musical identity.
