Am I the only person who misses the half hour results shows? These hour long things are stupid. Half hour was just enough time to get the results, but not to long to seem ridiculously drawn out. Just wondering if I'm alone on this or not.

No, you're not the only one. I absolutely despise the call in segment of the results show and wish they would stop it already. I only tune in if someone I like is performing that night and then I'll watch the end to see the bottom 3 and who gets booted.

Me, too. I DVR, then FF the next day, or later that night to the results, or stop at something that looks interesting. If there is someone that I want to hear (NOT Mariah), I'll stop at that, too, but I can't handle another bout of jousting between Ryan and Simon, and the Ford commercials... Just like the result show for DWTS-it's an entire hour! Give me a break!!! I DON'T THINK SO!!! That, my friends, are what DVR'S are for!! LOL

Agree 100%. My wife and I have gotten into the habit of not even watching the Wednesday night show. all episodes are automatically Tivo'd, so before we go to bed Wed night, we fast forward to the last 5 minutes and watch eviction.geekboy

That's pretty much what I do as well. Once I am done fast-forwarding through most of the tripe that is the "results show", it usually takes about 4 minutes.

Strangely, I do enjoy the Ford commercials.

No, you're far from alone. Because they're so ridiculously drawn out, I haven't watched a results show, until last night, this entire season. Nor, have I watched any of the performances. I only watched last night to see if Brooke's forgetting the words to her song, which I found out about on a Fox news report afterward, would get her booted. I muted most of the results show. And, was glad to see Carly Smithson go. I never liked her looks, especially the arm full of tattoos. Or, her shrill voice. From the get-go.
