If anyone important is reading this, I am looking to get into singing professionally like on shows like American Idol as well as other things like singing back up vocals for other things like awards show etc. If any of the the judges or anyone else knows how to tell me to get into this, please let me know. Thanks

Check the disclaimer below. This board is not connected with the networks, so I dunno that any of the judges or producers would be reading this, and if they do it is unlikely they would respond.Best bet as far as I know is to move to a city where music is being made and start auditioning for every audition you can. Finding a place to perform or a group to perform with even if it is all people looking to catch a break will help as well. Posting on message boards appears to be a very unlikely way to make the types of contacts you would need to get the kinds of jobs you are hoping for.
