ejm92 2221 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Roller Coaster Inaugurator" 05-15-03, 01:11 AM (EST) "AI2 Anti-Bootee Game, W10 Results/FINALE Entry" LAST EDITED ON 05-20-03 AT 03:26 PM (EST) It's gonna come down to the wire.........this week, we saw the final three contestants on American Idol. We also saw three contestants leave us in the Anti-Bootee Game, as the hardest hit were cyclehausen, bobstew617, and GuessItRains. In a whole reversal of fortunes, our leader for seemingly forever, Bebo, had an "off-week", only racking up six points on the week, and losing her once huge lead to ShowMeTheWinner. As for last week's action, it was the incredible bonus efforts of munson (20) and true (17) who led the scores of the week. The bottom dweller, as usual, was tribephyl (3). The FINAL WEEK of competition, somebody is gonna win American Idol, and somebody is gonna win the AI Anti-Boot game. Here are your remaining Idols, brought to you by Ford: Clay Aiken Ruben Studdard As usual, this week, you need one person on your safe list. You want the winner on your safe list. Since we usually head into the finale of other shows with either three or four players remaining, things are different. This may sound mean, but if you do not correctly choose the winner, you're out! So you have a 50-50 shot of staying in this game. You'll get 2 points for having the winner on your safe list. ---------------------------------------------------------------- The RDB - Last week, the RDB count was low, only 4 dawgs. Once again, we're going by Tuesday's show only. How many times will Randy say Dawg? It goes on a 5/3/1 point descending scale. The RMB - Last week, the RMB count was average, ringing in at 14 "man"'s. Tuesday's show only, folks. How many times will Randy say "man"? We're once again using the 8/5/3/1 point descending scale. ---------------------------------------------------------------- BONUS Questions - Last week, the order was Clay/Ruben/Ruben/None/Randy. This week, you're doing the same type of thing, 2 points apiece for each question. These questions pertain to Tuesday's show only. 1. Which Idol will Ryan first introduce? 2. Which judge will first mention Clay's name? 3. Whose phone number will be Idols-01? ---------------------------------------------------------------- From Ruben to Clay - For Tuesday's show only, there is yet another special new game. Read the fine print, though. 1. How many times will you hear the name "Ruben" on Tuesday? 2. How many times will you hear the name "Clay" on Tuesday? It'll be based on a 10 point scale. 10 points for being right on, and the bonus decreases by one point for each "Ruben" or "Clay" that you're off. HERE ARE THE DETAILS: The only Ruben/Clay's that count are ones that are ONLY said by Ryan, Simon, Paula, Randy, the Celeb Judge (if there is one), Clay, Ruben, and any former Idols or family members in confessional booths only. Basically I'm cutting out all of the fan noise. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Deadline is 8pm Tuesday. If you wanna change picks before Wednesday's show, it'll cost you 5 points. *****ShowMeTheWinner, our leader, is out of the country on a trip. I just arrived here a couple of days ago after going to a few little towns in Czech Republic. This place is pretty fun and I'm thoroughly enjoying myself even though I hate missing the final episodes of Survivor and AI, and probably the first few episodes of The Amazing Race. Thanks to ejm for looking out for me and thanks to cycle for helping me with my picks. The picks look pretty good so I'm sticking with them. I hope cycle will bring me luck (cross my fingers). I'd been pretty disappointed with my 6th place finish on the Survivor Spoiler Island game coz I felt that I should have gotten 1st place if I hadn't missed out on a week's picks due to unexpected power failure. It wasn't so bad if it were a bad week, but it was my best week and I'd have scored an additional 2000 points. I should have made my Spoiler Island picks right after I made my Piranha Pool picks, and this would not have happened. AAAARGGGHHH... Take it from me guys, make your picks early!
