geekboy 1788 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Herbal Healing Drugs Endorser" 05-17-05, 10:17 PM (EST) "A "Final Two" thought..." Going into tonight, i thought the show was a formality, with Vonzell leaving, and then we'd have the expected Bo/Carrie showdown. As i said, going into the show I thought that. Usually at this point, the final two are pretty clear cut, but something happened tonight that may change that. Bo was literally unbelievable. Teh acapella song choice was bold, brave, and amazing. He did it. "Don't let the ..." again was amazing. He even made me enjoy "Satisfaction" which i haven't enjoyed for eons. I think he could have done something that is unexpected at this stage, and that being taking votes away from #2, this season being Carrie. We could have a showdown for the #2 spot. It could be up for grabs. geekboy   Top

LAST EDITED ON 05-17-05 AT 10:37 PM (EST) I'm with Clive Davis - whether Bo wins or not, he RULES. I'll be buying his first album. For the record - I've never bought an AI album before. Bo is THAT GOOD!! ETA - so that I don't get accused of thread jacking, I think the finale will be between Vonzell and Bo. All three were good, but Bo knocked it out of the park, Vonzell made second, and Carrie got in a good bunt. Everyone is entitled to my opinion.   Top

I always vote for Bo, because well I am in lust with him and he is a damn good singer. I think he won it tonight. Its definetly a battle for second tonight. I also had a real hard time getting through. I have gotten through 50 times before and maybe only 10 in a half hour.   Top

I am not going to argue with anyone about Bo because it seems most everyone here is impressed and he will make the final two. However, we (as in the viewing public) don't know how the voting has gone in the past. If the 3 left are within 1% of each other then this vote could go either way and either of them could get booted tomorrow. Let's just say that Bo has the most fans voting for him and he is 1% ahead of Vonz and Carrie...then the ladies could be in a neck and neck situation. If Seacrust was telling the truth and the voting is within the one percent...then I say neither of the final three are 100% guarantee to make the final two. It really is going to go down to the wire. I guess what I am trying to say is that I don't know if someone that is a huge (insert name here) fan would change their votes after tonight's performances. Would a Carrie or Vonz fan change and vote for Bo? Geekboy...would you change any of your votes for one of the ladies? I would bet not. I think the biggest question is...where do the Anthony votes go?   Top

I guess what I am trying to say is that I don't know if someone that is a huge (insert name here) fan would change their votes after tonight's performances. Would a Carrie or Vonz fan change and vote for Bo? One of the DJs in our area had made it abundantly clear how much of a Carrie fan he was, often to the point that it got creepy. But I was listening to his breakdown of last night's episode, and he has completely changed his tune. He ripped apart her Air Supply song and was raving about how Bo's a cappella performance won him the competition. If Bo can convert that obsessed of a Carrie fan, I don't doubt that he got others. I was voting, and sure seems like lots of others were also. (I wasn't going to quit until I heard his voice again...and again...) We will have to drape the forum in black if Bo goes tonight.   Top

I've gotten through about 20 times each week for him, and last night I tried for the entire 2 hours and got through only 5 tims. I tried both lines, and only got through on the 05 line. They could have saved time and just crowned Bo last night. Also, Simon's statement way back in the beginning of this season that Carrie will outsell any other "Idol" was swept under the carpet along with her rendition of "I Feel Like a Woman". Bo will sell the most. I would, will buy his CD, I have never purchased any of the other Idols CDs. Like everything else is life, its not how you start its how you FINISH...
