I usually phone in votes for three or four contestants. Last night, however, I liked them all ... except Travis ... so I didn't vote. Yes, he looks good up on the stage, but he just didn't bring it this time.My other guess for who is going home (but I wouldn't be upset if either of them stayed) is between Consantine and Scott.

As I've said before, Constantine will be our Nikki, our Camille, our albatross, our lousy-singer-with-text-messaging-freak-fan-legion this season. I have a bad feeling we'll see a lot of Constantine in the weeks ahead. Would lvoe to be proved dead wrong.I thought he sucked. I also thought Travis sucked but at least Travis is nice to look at. Have to say, they are all really pretty darn good. I'm still pissed that this level of competition was available two years ago when I had to listen to Justin every week.

AMEN, Ginger!!Unfortunately, I suspect that we are going to have TWO birds hanging around our necks this year--Constantine and Janay. I pray I'm wrong. Perhaps they will both go the way of BLeah... I think Travis and Scott are going bye-bye on Wednesday, but I wish it was Travis and Constantine. Scott's voice is much better than Constantine's, and way better than most of the girls this year. I tried to vote for Bo, Anwar and Mario last night, but I kept getting busy circuit problems. As long as those three stay, I'll be happy. It would be a shame if Nikko went, but he's not going to win this competition, IMO, so he'll have to go some time. Hope it's later rather than sooner, though.

His voice is interesting. Plus, he's extremely sexy -- which doesn't hurt. Sure other singer's may be techniqually better -- but Constantine's is the only music I'd buy. He's unique -- just like Fantasia -- no one else sounds like him, and IMO he sounds great. I'd take him over Boring Bo any day. I hope he gets through to the final 12! I hope Travis and the Bobby Brown look-alike go home...

Warmed over Styx 'n' Sting. Really forced growly thing. Not seeing the uniqueness. But I liked Fantasia, and her voice drove many people up the wall, so it's all good Idol.
I loathed Justin, AJ, RJ, OJ and all the other boyz from seasons past. I think Rooooben would have been beaten if he'd been on this season. I think Clay is fine but would never buy his album.

I hate to say this, but I have to agree with you.
I think it is clear, that Travis will be going home, as to who the other one might be.. is unclear to me. It should be Constantine, but I am afraid it will be Nikko. I always vote for the best performance (last night..Anwar), and I know alot of others vote for their favorite performer, regardless of their performance. I don't belief that Nikko has achieved the fan base as the others, and will meet the same demise as the other St. Louis contestant, Aloha.

This week Anwar was my favorite. He sang one of my favorite songs ever in a way that I haven't heard and did it fabulously.
Nikko and Mario get my number 2 and 3 spot. They showed they have what it takes for the finals I believe.
Bo was my favorite the first two weeks. He drops down a little this week but is still my man overall.
Well we all know Travis will be the lowest votes. He can dance and he is very nice to look at, but his voice is just not as good as the rest.
The second one to not make the finals is harder to predict.
Anthony sang really well but as Simon said, he is not Latino and it was just a tad odd for me. I am pretty darn white and can get swooned by a hot Latino singing a good ballad any day of the week. If I closed my eyes it might have just worked, but this boy is pretty darn white. He has some fans, though, and maybe the younger crowd hadn't heard the Marc Anthony version of that, so I'm guessing he is staying.
Constantine has always been pretty far down on my love list so to speak. But he earned some bonus points last night by singing a good song, not screeching, and refraining from his silly face poses. It's going to be between him and Scott for the last spot in the finals. Scott sang better in my opinion. Scott also has some sympathy votes going for him (one from my husband in fact who also had a horrible father). So it is a tough call, does Constantine still have enough fans out there to put him into the finals? I'm going to hesitantly say yes and this will send Scott home.

I have to say that with regard to the boy boots, i think we're at a point where it is going to be impossible to predict because everyone is damn good this season.Barring the OBVIOUS ouster of Travis this week, i can't predict the 2nd one to get kicked. Personally, i think Constantine is the next of the weakest, but i can't say with certainty that he will be voted off. I don't think Scott shoudl be eliminated, but then again he's going up agains the "image police" bs. I don't think Nikko has the big following. I also don't think Anthony has the cult following that Clay did, and he obviously doen'st ahve the voice that Clay does. I think Mario's support may also be weakening with the emergence of Bo and Anwar. So, i haven't a clue other than "bubye Travis". geekboy

I think Travis is pretty much a given at this point, well, as given as a given on AI can be. He could pull something out of the voting hat, but he's in deep trouble, he wasn't that good last night and I think he's the weakest performer left.As for #2, I think Scott is going home by a very slim margin. I do not think he was one of the worst two performers last night (Travis and Constantine would get my votes there, although after Travis, I could name three) nor do I think he is one of the worst two remaining, but I have to think that Nikko had a better performance and has been better while Constantine has a big fan base (I'm guessing Anthony does as well). I do not want to see him go, but I think it will be him.

I'm with the majority in thinking it will be out of Travis, Scott, Constantine, and Nikko. Here's where I'm at right now:
Should Go:
1.Travis
2.Constantine Will Go:
1.Travis
2.Scott Alt: Nikko. I think Constantine has a pretty big fan base that's not willing to turn on him just yet.
Nikko, as good of a singer as he is..just isn't very exciting to watch. there's very little about him that makes him memorable.
If Scott gets the boot, I think it's going to primarily be thanks to that large chip on his shoulder. from the p.o.v. of a casusal AI viewer (meaning myself), he seems like he has a bad attitude...and his getting sassy with Simon last night didn't help his case. If Travis, by some miracle gets into the top 12...i call him right now as my pick for twelfth place. p.s. does anyone else miss the judges' wildcard picks? the wildcard show gave us Clay, Trenyce, George, and my girl J-Hud..which to me, far outweighs the Leahs and the JPLs we got from them.

Once they get in the top 12, it will be the old routine of only picking 1 each week from the 12. There are AT LEAST 4 girls that are much worse than Travis. The girls really suck this year. It's not even fair to pick 2 boys when all those sorry girls will be left in the top 12. I think the final 4 will be all male or maybe 1 female. They Guys Rock!

Last year would have been a bit scary, since I think we only had four guys on AI3's final twelve, and only George Huff was really versatile and a great singer out of the four. Matthew was your typical bottom of the twelve type of singer (a few of those per season), JPL was limited in his top song selection set (did we ever see him do a good ballad), and John Stevens had versatility issues.

yeah, we're in agreement on that, i think.
this years format would have never worked last year, either. If i remember correctly, the majority of last year's male vocalists were absolutely horrendous. there were a couple of stand-outs Eric Yoder and Matt Metzger, for example..that were top 12 good...but there weren't necessarily six guys who deserved to be in the top 12.although, i think some would argue a similar scenario with the girls this season...but i disagree. i think there are definately six girls who are strong enough to make the top 12.

There will definitely be six girls that make the top twelve, but if Scott or Nikko were girls we would not be speculating their fate. They would be sure things for the final twelve. Unfortunately, the likes of Lindsay, Vonzell and Amanda will probably make the top 12 assuming Janay and Micalah are gone, when none of them could beat out Scott or Nikko straight up.

Travis is gone. He reminded me of one of those SERIOUSLY bad auditions before they even get to Hollywood. What the hell he was thinking at this point, I don't know.Other than him, it's a toss-up between Scott and Nikko. Since Nikko turned in a memorable performance, I think that Scott will be forgotten in the shuffle.
