Last week, the guys were boring, safe, not so good sometimes, but mostly just "a'ight" with a couple of standout performances. The girls blew the guys away - most of the performances were excellent.This week, the girls were boring, safe, not so good a lot of the times, with a couple of standout performances. Almost all the guys were excellent. What gives?

I honestly thought the guys were better than the girls in both weeks, although both groups stepped up a bit in Week 2.

I totally agree. I think some of the girls branched out of their comfort zones in week 2 and the judges dropped them down a notch with negative critiques. The guys are by and large much better than the girls. They were during both weeks.

Oh, I just don't see that. I think it is quite obvious that the men have more talent than the women overall. After week 1, I only saw one woman with what I thought was a modicum of talent and she pretty much blew it completely this week. If a man doesn't win this, it will be criminal.
I'm such a slut for the blues.
