"Heather's radio interview" |
Here is a summary of Heather's 8/10 WGN interview (I did not actually hear this interview, and I am blatantly copy-and-pasting this summary from another fan site ... sorry PlasticSanta) ------------------------------------------------------ Here's a summary of last night's Chicago radio interview with Heather for all true phreaks and potential reality show contestant stalkers...The interview was done via telephone from the players weekend reunion in Vegas (exact location not specified) - all are in attendance except for Al and Patrick. She is rooming with Dorothy, Lisa and Elavia. The only game she intentionally sabotaged was Anderson's Funhouse - she probably could have stayed in the room with the snake, but she didn't in order to try to throw Al off. Bill was told by the producers in advance as to who did what in the Funhouse, but chose to blow it intentionally to try to throw the players off. She initially thought Anderson didn't like her because she was the only one he seemingly avoided speaking to. He later told her it was because he thought she was the Mole. He also apologized about yelling at her for touching the bike. Virtually all the players frequent the internet message boards, and especially enjoy it when they are being trashed. The Mole receives approximately the same as the second place money she received - $25,000. And no, the Mole does not receive additional prize money or a percentage of the pot lost for successfully sabotaging a game. The players are required to spend ten minutes each day in the confessional. Most of the time she ran out of things to say, which explains why they showed her just sitting there brushing her hair on occasion. She wasn't quite sure why they decided to show that - maybe the producers wanted to portray her as being "prissy". The finale was filmed in October. No one has received either any money yet or any offers from their appearance on the show. She confirmed that Dorothy shown eating an apple in the opening of the show was intended to be a clue that Dorothy was the winner and Bill was the Mole - for some reason it wasn't mentioned during the final episode. Her engagement ended after five months, they parted as friends. She is now living in Denver and works for a radio show called E-Town. (The website etown.org doesn't list her as a staff member). She applied for Big Brother 2 and was called back the same day as her Mole callback, but chose The Mole because she got a "bad vibe" from the types of questions she was being asked by the BB producers. She thinks there will definitely be a Mole 3.

Thanks for the update, cyclehausen. Well, maybe Heather and Bribs can hook up now that the engagement is off.

Turns out she did have some brains after all (don't know if that was a "trash" or not, but it was for you) Awesome interview, cycle! If you ever see PlasticSanta again, thank him for me ======================= Survivorerist - Oh where oh where did my sig pic go? LAST EDITED ON 09-02-02 AT 02:36 PM (EST)Moving from Dallas to Denver....hmm, sounds familiar. Anyway, the reason I'm posting here is the sabotage issue. I didn't listen to the interview but understand she says the only game she purposefully sabotaged was the Fun House game. So I'm guessing that greasing the knome out of turn was an unintentional slip? Seems to me that the good players put themselves in the mole's shoes on occasion and may do things to incite suspicion without even realizing it. That's the most blatant incident that comes to mind, but I'm sure there were many more. Congratulations on a game well-played. By the way for all of you in Denver...don't miss the "SNIAGRAB" (the world's largest ski and snowboard sale) at Gart Sportcastle, 1000 Broadway, near downtown Denver, Labor Day is the final day!
