1. "I was about to post that!"
I just got an email about this party today. It was verbatim to what you posted above. For everyone's info, the Walt Whitman School is for gay kids who don't feel they fit in at "regular" schools. There are very few, I'd say less than 15, people enrolled.

5. "Pictures"

The head of security at Brandon's club has put up a page with pictures from the following day. When all 16 Survivors signed autographs for those that had to work the event the night before. It can be found at http://www.koyote.com/users/huffman/survivor_3_photo.htm

Thanks for the link, I was wondering how the shindig went. Frank was noticeably absent from the pictures!

Actually, I also think I didn't see KimJ anywhere either.

But from the below photo it looks like they had set up two rows of eight for the panel session -- so either KimJ and Frank were last minute noshows or they just didn't end up in any of the photos/

Interesting...

I see Kelly showed up with her Dad. Doesn't look like she was spending a lot of time with the survivors.

Damn, I'm sorry, but none of these folks (other than Silas) seem to have gone out of their way to dress up of the event, huh? A number of them look like they rolled out of bed and into the place -- some of them looked BETTER on the show when they hadn't showered in 3 weeks. Lindsey doesn't look very good AT ALL in the one photo posted:

And what's with the captions on all the girl's tops:

Lindsey - "Don't Touch Me" (Umm... OK)
Jesse - "Rock"
KimP - "American Cowgirl"

...I guess Kelly "Shameless" started a trend

11. "Major Props to Brandon!"
Major props to Brandon for getting this great fundraising event together. I was very moved to read about it over on Survivorfever, whose Webmaster went and has a very DIFFERENT description of what everyone was wearing, plus there are different pictures, or at least A different picture of everyone dressed up. They all look stunning. Teresa is in a pink lame slinky sheath and Kelly's dress is bright, bright red. Lex is wearing red leather pants. So these pictures on the above link are only PART of the story. And yes, Lindsey does not look well, but she looks OK, what you can see of her on Survivorfever. They all look like they really made an effort for the second part of the evening. This must just have been an opening reception. I give Brandon and all the Survivors tremendous credit for supporting this event. They didn't have to, but they did and it was a tremendous success evidently and Brandon never looked happier.
Congratulations to all of them for having the guts, taste and class to do this.

LOL SB - you don't have a teenage daughter, do you! Those shirts are all the rage here, and we're in the Midwest (not exactly a frontrunner of fashion). My daughter has several: a "rock star" like Jessie's, "e-Babe", "Troublemaker", etc.

PS: I saw Kim J in several of the autograph-signing photos. She's sitting between Lil Kim and T-Bird. And is that a tattoo on the back of Clarence's neck?

15. "RE: Pictures...NOT main event"

As I posted above the pictures on that page are from the Friday morning. The Survivors did another event to sign for the people that had to work the main event Thursday night. I'm guessing none of the people that work at these 4 clubs would have wanted to work that night if not for this event the next morning. I think it is rather awesome that the Survivors actually did this for the workers, after having been up late the night before. Which from the picture on survivorfever they did dress up for, except for Tom because of lost luggage.

Ethan just can't stop smiling. It's a beautiful thing to see. In every picture, he's just lighting up Broadway, with his smile. He seems so happy. Tom's luggage got lost on the way their and now I see him being a KFC spokesperson in two seconds flat. Frank was there, too, but he's not in this bunch of pictures. Ethan is wearing the SAME shirt he wore on Regis. That boy needs some TIPS.

Not really, Dude. Looks like a weekend party at my place.

Maybe this road we're on is the very thing that's come between us, or maybe it's the highway to the very place that might just save us.

This event on the Friday morning took place at a Miller Distributors place, not at one of the clubs.
