Wow! Was that some CRAZY get up on Kathy or what? Clearly she was totally punked out just like Lex. Right???? Awww come on. You really aren’t buying that? Shoot.OK, so I can’t realistically call Kathy’s necklace “punk”, and thus, the BQ answer was “N”. Humbug. Double Humbug to you Sittem! Another Humbug for the fact that absolutely no one got eliminated this week. Not even those folks that didn’t put in an answer. I haven’t been to Spoilers once this season, yet I’m kind of curious if this whole season’s results have been known before it even started. The only time we ever lose anybody is when they forget to put in picks. Bummer. The weekly winner was the quiet and elusive dreamerbeliever (8), with a bunch of people at 7: bubbastan, Keae, LeftPinky, silentJ, smrtNsassybnkr, TeamJoisey, tjstein and udg. For the weekly bottom dwellers, djandy and tribephyl (-15) continued to shadow each other. Others down low were: Lolly (-5), rwj3eb (-4), buckeyegirl and LionChow (-2). Yeah, I know. Not much change at the top of the standings, as TeamJoisey (128) is still holding off Bubbastan (126). Rounding out the top dozen are 321Jump (121), ExInterper (117), Gerbees (116), GrendelsMom, smtrNsassyBnkr, Yogi (115), Corvis, railfan, RoadKill (114) and ulalame (113). No change in the Survy Award fight. Now it’s Tribephyl (-121) still holding a 3 point lead over djandy (-118). Bonus Question #7:
I checked and at least the last three BQ’s have all been Survivor related, so it’s time for a little departure (a self-indulgent one at that).Last night, while driving the last #$%@ mile of my trip home from work, an immense pig of an SUV was kind enough to pull out of a diner parking lot and pull right into my lane as I was going past, thus slamming into the back quarter-panel of my car. When you match a Yukon XL up against a 1990 Honda Prelude, take a guess what happens. I did my best to swerve out of the way (I was headed straight at the passenger seat of the Yukon) and managed to get the nose of my car and my body past the obscene excuse for a vehicle (not an SUV fan – can you tell?), but he just clipped my back end. At least the guy freely admitted that it was all his fault, both to me and the police. Needless to say, the Yukon was barely scratched while my beloved Prelude took some pretty bad damage, though I could still drive it home. I don’t know if it’s salvageable yet or not, and I’ll be seriously miserable if I lose it. The car has been flawless since day one. In honor of my Old Faithful, the ten of you that make the closest guess to it’s current mileage reading, win three points (over/under doesn’t matter). I just finally finished car payments on our "family vehicle" three months ago, and I was getting used to the extra $700 a month in my pocket. The thought of starting all over again from scatch is NOT very appealing right now. Besides, all the car has to do is get me 4 miles to and from the train station (I commute to Manhattan). I'm hoping to patch it up. The problem will probably be getting it to pass inspection. Ugh!

LC, sorry to hear about your traffic mishap. My favorite car met a somewhat similar end. Mine was innocently parked in a parking lot and someone "backed" into it (going about 50 MPH, evidently, because the frame got so bent I couldn't even drive it home).
