ejm92 2221 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Roller Coaster Inaugurator" 03-23-03, 05:49 PM (EST) "S6 ABPABC, W1 Results/W2 Entry" LAST EDITED ON 03-24-03 AT 05:30 PM (EST) Week 1 is through, but entries will still be accepted throughout the season!!!! This game will eventually get exciting because of the new rules to the ABC, as well as the season's possible merge and exciting tribal councils that are ahead....because of LionChow's 2pm deadline on the Anti-Bootee contest, I am going to enforce a 4pm EST (on Survivor Night) deadline for this contest. The major spoilers post their picks around 4, but because this contest needs a little time to judge how they made their picks, I'm thinking about 4 because sometimes the spoilers have not posted by that time. If it doesn't work for the first week, we may cut it to 3:30 or so, but we will at least have an hour to judge the final ABC picks. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Also, some rules changes this week because of the major point differences among players: *The value of the Best AND Worst Score categories has been pushed from 5 points to 10 points. *The penalty for picking the wrong Best/Worst Scorer has jumped from 1 point to 5 points taken off of your score. *The value of the Secret Word category has been pushed from 5 points to 15 extra points. ----------------------------------------------------------------- And now, we will move on to what happened last week....after some scoring problems, it's djandy who got 115 points and is in the lead. "Scoring Question" Hey ejm92, I just want to make sure I'm understanding this game (my first season playing). Is there a penalty for not picking the secret word, or is it just the possibility of points if you get it? Also, if someone ties for best or worst and is in the group you picked, does everybody get all 5 points, or do you have to share them? The reason I'm asking is I couldn't come up with the score you gave me.
